I'm buggin out after a long day of work. Duh… I won't have to grind down the other pad because it is on the other side of the rotor, away from the hub. Time to go to bed!

So… when I went to mount the body panels the handlebars would hit the top of the panel where the screw hole is. No way around it.

So… I used this delta stem riser with a home made shim, straight mountain bike bars, and the bars would still hit.

I've got some riser handlebars on order, as well as a steel braided brake line for the Venus. So the build will continue after the weekend.

I think I read somewhere that the DIO engines can be bored/stroked out to something like 125cc... know if there's any truth to that?

My friend has one, liquid cooled. It would probable do 100mph if he could stop snapping belts…too much torque. It will lift the wheel when you don't want it too.

From what I understand, The engineers that made the Japaneese, vertical, 2-stroked, Honda Dio, left and made a clone for the SYM scooter company. I think the SYM blocks are better, bigger intake opening, and they run the larger Dio ZX pulleys, which is like an overange transmission. The Arnada is a Honda Dio SR clone. All the engine parts are compatible, and I think the body panels might work as well with a little fudging. In Europe it is also called the SYM Flash or Free.
