You could try cleaning that carb out and maybe use it till the now one arrives. What happened to the 02Starrider carb? Can't you use that?

She runs good.got 12china miles on it .but it needs some tweeking.got to give it half throttle before it starts to move? thinking it needs different variator weights? will see what's in it tomarow but its suppose to rain all day.+ it revs real hi when I first take off is good then it revs real hi befor it starts to pick up speed had it up to 55 China mph.at 3/4 throttle.? I think the a/f mix needs more ajustingto can't a just the needle.waiting on new one hope it can be adjusted.any thought s or suggestions would be hiley appriated.thanks every one.

Revving high for the first movement from a standstill is a clutch issue most likely. After that, probably a roller weight swap would be the way to tame it down. If you're used to the 150 it may seem like the 50 revs too much? Mine takes a good bit of throttle and revs to move, though I have aftermarket clutch springs. I found it takes off much more quickly that way.

I got 1000 gams springs when I got my perf variator? Think they would be better ?the blue ones?

The heavier the sliders, the quicker it will shift into high gear. It takes some experimenting.
If your engine tends to rev too low, try lighter weights.
If your engine revs too high...try slightly heavier weights

yes put the perf variator on before you start tuning the sliders/rollers.
I wouldn't order a new belt unless the one you have is worn.
