Ya I saw that.guy that let me use his torque wrench told me after that he only used it once.and it was sitting for a long time.wise I'd known that before I used it.he offered to get me a new one.witch I thought was cool.so I went on eBay found one for $15 at scooters to go.went out and made sure it was a 69mm should be here Saturday.

Its alive.got new valve holder today put it on tighted this one down by hand.put everything back on I put a #90 main jet in.looked everything over real good.turned the gas on pushed the start button.took a couple trys but it fired right up.has to turn ideal up a little but it seems to run good.have to check the valves.there loud.I set the top one at .003 and the bottom at .004.then before I could do anything else it started to rain like crazy.so I tarped it up till tomrrow it suppose to be nice.well that's all for now.

For some reason valves do seem loud on bbk after warmed up.(imo) I tried setting valves tight as possible but still kinda tappy. Vs stock bore. Higher compression may be a factor? .the odd part is all the bbk scoots i sold or kitted. Nobody but myself has concerns about tapping. They are happy as clams. Guess im trying to get my china scoot to purr like a bmw or a ducatti.

NOW THAT WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT.love the takeoff before I had to pushoff to get going not anymore.reminds me of when I had my 150.still need to turn the carb I think.when its on hi idle when its cold it will sherg up and down to almost a stall then catch itself .it will do that until its warms up then run good.?really like the pickup now.only put about 6 miles on.it nothing to hit 30 now.went around the blocks a few times don't go pass half thouttle.went out this morning readjusted the valves.they were quite till it warmed up then got loud again.o well I can live with that.any ideas about the sherg would be great.I got a 20mm carb but I don't think its a true 20mm with a #85 main jet .do I need to go bigger? Or tinker with the AF mix.thank guys
