So I found out that the clip on the carb needle had come off. Fixed it and all is well. Then I traded the scoot for this:  LOL. Goodbye good times on the scoot. Hello good times on a ninja 250! I have to replace or repair the motor, that's why it was a straight up trade. Everything else on the bike looks great. New tires, great brakes, no rust that I can see, healthy battery. I feel like it was a good deal. I can get a used low mileage motor for less than $500. Considering the scoot was given to me, I'm pretty much getting this bike for the cost of a motor.  |
