So my first round of parts have come in today. 5 gram sliders, 1.5k RPM clutch springs, and a #90 main jet. I plan on buying a whole set of jets in the near future. I'll also be ordering a 50mm BBK as soon as I get my new job situation worked out. Awesome. Can't wait to install these bad boys tonight. I went with a #90 main jet because I plan on modifying the airbox, or going with an open filter.

I would tune the cvt before you ever think about doin a free flow filter or any mods to air box trust me it's more of a pain than its worth. Unless you insist like I did i would do all cvt first then play with filters and jets

Ya that's what I plan on doing. Throw in the sliders and clutch springs and see how she feels. THEN start messing with the jets. If it's a negative outcome, I'll just throw back in the stock parts.

AAAAAAnd I step out side to ride over to my buddy's house with a garage and it's pouring rain. It's about an 8.5 mile/ 30 min ride. My scooter moddin' dreams are shattered! Until it lets up anyway. lol.

Yup , one upgrade at a time keeps things less frustrating. Stock airboxes flow pretty well imo. The slider/ spring combo should give a nice takeoff boost.

I went to install my parts last night but it was too late to use the impact as my friend's roommate was already asleep. Doh. My valve locking nuts came loose when I tried to leave as well lol. I tightened them up, but when I got close to my apartment they were coming loose again. Guess I'll have to put some hulk strength on them today.

Just got done installing the sliders and clutch springs. Definite improvement. Gets to cruising speeds a lot faster and speed up hills are about 5 mph faster. All in all I'm very satisfied. I also port matched the intake and spacer to the head. I feel like there could be some improvement with some carb tuning next.

Installed that #90 main jet and removed the air box restrictions tonight. Gained about 3-5 mph throughout (flats/uphill.) Definitely the most noticeable gains thus far. Good combo with the sliders and clutch springs. I peg out the chinometer going down hills and it keeps going Good times. Great oldies.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to start making money again. Ha. AKA buying scooter parts. Did a little modding today. Nothing special. Kind of ghetto since I'm on a super tight budget till I start working next week. Bell Dashboard 100 bicycle speedometer Handle bar mirror (I'll get a proper bar end mirror later lol) I had this briggs and stratton muffler laying around from using it as a wastegate muffler on the TT. So I slapped it on with a "silencer." I like it. Loud enough to let people know I'm coming, but not teeth rattling loud. Like I said, kinda ghetto but I'm poor and I like it. Lol. Noticed a little more oomph. No negative effects so I say it's a winner.
