Good evening guys.. I am still obsessed with the scooters i guess... Just wanted to show off my upcoming project as soon as the ZX is done..(I guess this was MY christmas present to myself). This is a L.C super 9.... I already have a malossi cast iron 70cc kit.... Areeche 19mm carb,....technigas next r pipe (looking to change that), rear disc brakes... Of course the bearings on the crank and the water pump will have to be changed along with the seals... I also have to order a cdi, brake pads for it..I have the crank bearings/seals now, gasket kit on the way. Brakes and cdi SHOULD be ordered this weekend.. Plz dont flip out with me wanting to attempt another build.  ..(seriously  ).. The more i do it, the easier it will become...  .. That's a really nice scoot too. I was just thinking about asking you to show us the Super 9 in one of your other threads... looked around... there it is! lol
I've never had the pleasure of tinkering with one, but they sure have a great reputation and I hope it lives up to it for you.

Thank you brent.....Yeah, This is suppose to be the "tits" of the Kymco line... I know a guy that had one and it would haul butt... :checkered: When i 1st got my ZX i was expecting the same as a s9, BOY was i wrong. :no: :rofl: .. The ZX is alot different. I do know the rear disc brake is kindof rare. (at least on kymco's).. The wheel/brake swap i did on the zx recently was a '08. They only had the disc on like 3 yrs. ('03,4,5, then went back to drum). It looks like straight garbage in these pipcs.. I hadn't even washed it yet or anything..(went 3 hrs away to get this 1, from admin on the si forum).. It has stratches but the panels are still intact, thankfully. I am way stoked about having this 1. This 1 should still whip the ZX's butt easily... Maybe this 1 is the 68mph scoot......(Hope like hell anyway. .. Sure hope to hit 65-68 with this AND the ZX(after gears on the ZX for sure.. :lol: ) |

Bat, is that a W/C or a A/C? I rode a used W/C last year. It only had 75 clicks on it, but the guy wanted the as new price. Stock it would do 50+, even with 185 lb me on it. Same color too. Nice scoot. Stroke it, Bore it, Louver and Lower it.

Thanks guys, Yeah i wanted on of these ever since i found kymco. I need to post a cpl more pics of it... I recieved my gasket kit from scootercraft.com I must say, they have some excellent shipping. (I even need to post in the board, that was sweet). Even shipped FED EX.(FED-EX can deliver my packages but ups cant deliver my ZX cases. :stumped: :rant: ) My cdi and rear brakes will be ordered tonight..... and that'll leave getting some waterpump bearings/seal for it and i can ATTEMPT all this for a 2nd time. I'm really gonna hate ordering the bearing from dal-kawa.. It's gonna cost $75 for the bearings/seal on the water pump. i have a link for 1 i think but idk about them. of course someplace has them for a total of about $16 but aeromyst cant find the info now. bearingsdirect i think has them. 1 anyway. :lol: Yeah RD, She's a L.C. :drool: I don't think i've reached the stroker level yet. :rofl: :no: Stroking did cross my mind for the next mod on the ZX tho. But i guess the durations will screw me up :stars: ;D. (Oh brent, i also have the programs from walter, have you learned yours yet?.. i'm all messed up with them... IMAGINE THAT SHIT THO HUH.. :rofl: ).... Any pd lessons with the program(s)? I finally learned how to get step 6 to drop down and get further along. :rockon: :lol: |
