Engine looks great. Shtuff happens. I constantly turn short term projects into long term projects. I'd need the lives of a cat or a lousy marksman if the penalty for that was being shot. lol

Hey guys... Well, some of you will be glad to hear that i am LOSING any and all obsession with scooters.... Been waiting on a in complete cvt cover for 2 months, waiting to leak test for 2 months... So i didnt know where to put this but since my 2 s9's will be sharing parts, i'd just put it here.... When you "pull"/"suck" on the vaccum line and see fuel pouring out, the petcock should be operational, correct? ?? When you replace the SAME tube on the intake and crank it but fuel NEVER comes out... What could be the problem??? Could the vaccum line and oil line be crossed at the intake? Any ideas would be great.. the manual isnt much help on this at all......

It shouldnt matter if they are switched, it should still get vac. Is your carb on when you try? You gotta have something plugging the hole to get the vac.

Yeah, it's on the scoot.... No fuel getting to carb.... Take off vaccum line, suck on it, pours out nicely, replace the vaccum lione, no fuel again

I had that problem or close when my Uncle,s Cobra got a chunk of dirt in the petcock. Had to take it off and blow through it from both directions. Got it clear and Uncle said "lets just drill it out". So we did and it worked fine after that/ Still does. You might wanna drill out the whole vac deal and just make it gravity feed and put a inline shutoff valve in. Its pretty simple, just make sure to get all the metal shavings outta the petcock or you will be back in the same boat again....I hope this helps? I might have some pics of what im speaking of?

I've got 3 and one running right now. I know the feeling. It's gotta be the line or a fitting clogged like Robert said if it works fine till it's connected to the engine.

If you suck on the vac line with the fuel line hooked to the carb, will it run?If the carb bowl full it should run a few minutes just from the bowl, maybe its a carb/float adjustment....
