Just so you guys know, I just finished the AC-LC conversion.
So we installed the electric pump, radiator and the Super 9LC BBK. + custom parts. Delta clutch, Big red spring and wing bell.
Still testing the bike now. Took photos too =)
All I'm waiting now is the Top Racing Crank shaft + bearings and Malossi primary gear and the stage 6 Pro replica exhaust.
So far I'm topping at around 50-52MPH. Which is the same as with the AC Malossi BBK.

First female on the scoot speed list.

There is a BIIIGGGG difference between a TUNED scoot w/performance parts and a scoot which just has performance parts bolted on... What are the #'s? Squish, duration, compression, RPM's, etc. what's your final drive ratio? That will have the most impact on your top speed. You may never see much more than 50 mph if your gearing is holding you back...

Btw, is it ok for the electric pump to pump the coolant into the cylinder at all times at a steady pace?
I was told that it should have been pumping depending on the rate the engine working, thus it gives the coolant enough time to cool down, rather than pumping hot liquid into the cylinder?

The thermostat controls the flow but the pump continues to run just like the water pump in a car.

The thermostat controls the flow but the pump continues to run just like the water pump in a car. Right on!The techno electro wizards want to place sensors in the 'right' places to tell the brainbox when to turn on and off the pump..Then a wire breaks...The MX stuff uses constant circulation, works good with them..A nice thing about an electric pump is it can be switched on without the engine running and cool itself off waaay faster..Great for race stuff..

So what I have now is ok with the constant circulation? I still want to install a temperature gauge, but I'm not even sure in which hole and where to buy

Yeah, you will be fine. You have to keep in mind that most of the time I have Derbi on the brain and they use thermostats!!! The thermostat just keeps the coolant at a pretty constant temperature. Without a thermostat, the temps will be slightly cooler. I have seen people remove the thermostat during the summer to keep the coolant temps lower in their cars.

Oh, Trail Tech makes a very affordable and small temp gauge that you can stick on around your speedometer pretty easily. They have different size sensors that go right in your coolant hose. You just need to know the inside diameter of your hose. And do yourself a favor and buy the 48" extension lead because the supplied leads are way too short.( I know from first hand experience.)

Some LC heads have a hole tapped into the head for a temp sensor, thats the ideal spot, but a outlet hose splice tap would give you good info too..

There's a few different temp gauges you could get, I think many of us here are using the Trailtech TTO temp gauges. Temperature gauge might just be the single best tuning tool you could have. It'll let you keep an eye on temps while tuning and driving- never worry about soft seize again! I love mine! www.trailtech.net/digital-gauges/tto/temperature

Motopartshub.com had them for around $25. You can get them in black, silver or orange. I love mine too!!!

Someone told me I need an INLINE temp gauge that goes into the hose from the radiator that goes into the cylinder?
