When I had your pipe back,I noticed you had not installed the rubber coupler and tie wraps..They keep the 2T oil drool from happening..A leak there wont hurt a thing other than the chrome sparkle!

I didn't see any tie wraps. Is it just a zip tie or something else? I do have the rubber and I'm wondering how to take the silencer out.

I'm still searching for gears that work, is there any way to contact malossi and stage 6 directly and not a dealer?

I don't think they will reply. Did you check their online catalog and did it had any gears for your engine? A couple of months ago i contacted Yasuni to ask if the City16 or C16/07 worked with the centerstand because when it came out in 2007 thought i read in some magazine it did. Well, no reply. Only after i sent another mail and then i got a real short reply in really bad english that it did. So you might wanna try again.
When that does'nt work you might consider making a gear set yourself. Abort some gears from another scoot and have a machineshop or a handy friend mill and weld something up? I don't think its that hard and we can help you with the details.

Isn't it dangerous to just grab an old gear and modify it ?

As I said earlier, gear technology is a huge science..If I had the project,I'd get a gear count of the stock set up,then calculate what gear set would be needed for a 10 to 1 final drive, the primary side looks easier to fab,,Then a gear set would need to be found in that gear count AND the center to center spacing of the case support bearing would need to be calculated also..IF that magic gear set is found, the primary clutch shaft would need to be machined to a pre determined size so the new gear could be pressed on,,intermediate stock gear pressed off and new gear machined fo a pressed fit on the stock shaft,,All these parts are super hard and would need carbide or diamond cutters to machine them,,sorry to kick sand at the project, but if you want to go there, this is just the start what will be needed to make it work..

I found a gear for this bike... 16/57
Problem is I don't have any money left to spend.
I still have the 15/44 malossi gear and the torque driver plate so if anyone want them so I can get this gear set... let me know
