That's a good idea. If you get really bored you could cut it out in the circle the same pattern as the wheels. lol

Less than 5k, probably closer to 4. I've just taken the top end off to check the damage, I've got a very big problem. The con rod has snapped and taken the top end with it. Pics to follow.

OUCH!!Hate to see that!Now you've got plenty to do..Are the connecting rods a weak point on your scoot?Possibly a metallurgy problem..

The funny thing is John, they aren't supposed to be the weak spot, everybody agrees that's the low quality main bearings. This is something almost unheard of, people who tune them for a living were astonished when I stuck some pics up on facebook.
