So you did have to use the control module. I actually have enough parts to build another Atlantis, but I need most of the plastics and they are so expensive that I just can't justify it. Who knows, maybe I'll come across another one that isn't running. Eh, no big deal though. If you need some I might be abLe to help. The Atlantis als sold in Holland. I once rebuild a totally wrecked one for a customer back when I used to work as a scoot mechanic. It had an air cooled cylinder and a watercooled head! Never saw and have seen it before. I had a Honda Pilot that was air cooled and I put a water cooled head on it. No water pump either! It used convection currents, I was told, to make the water flow. I never had any problems with that motor either and was a blast to ride up until the day I sold it to some people from a kids circus. It's been a while since I've been over to see the Derbi, but lets assume that I'd want all the plastics including the handle bar plastics. If I can get them at a decent price then I can put it together and sell it. Let me know how much.

I tried to paint on before that had different colored panels that I'd gotten from a couple different scoots. Another Derbi actually. Lets just say that I wasn't to pleased with myself. And I'm a perfectionist so it really frustrated me that I couldn't get it right. So, I would rather not have to paint them. But, I have no problem hiding a few scratches with stickers, because I am a total sticker whore

The first one that front panel is pretty messed up and I don't think I could cover it with a sticker lol. The second one looks just like the one I painted. Flat black It came out okay, I guess, but I still wasn't happy with it. Now if you could get the plastics from a Red Bullet that would be hella cool!

Spaz, just remember that black is the mixture of all colors. (I learned that in art class) It looks good to me. Bill

PirateLabs, from that angle and distance it looked okay. But it was blotchy. This shows better how it looked.

Looks like a custom flat black paint job to me. Seriously, I think it looks good. I think you are being too critical here.

It doesn't matter how good it looks. A true perfectionist is never satisfied. I know because I am one. Lol
