Not super expensive, but it feels significant. Little blurry from the medical tape covering it. I’ll update the pic once it’s healed. When are you getting "49ccScoot" done on the other leg?

When I lived in Baltimore I always had a sailboat in the garage. Some I sailed some I worked on but it was a fun hobby. With my retirement in front of me I decided that scooting would get boring every day and that having an alternate activity would be fun. So I picked this up off of marketplace last night. All in all it's in good shape for it's age. The trailer needs new tires and all of the running rigging needs replacing but it will be fun to mess around in some of the lakes near me.

Finally ordered my 1st smartphone. I've been getting irritated that I can't do things because everything requires an app. Last week I did a Wal-Mart grocery pickup, like I've done since months before COVID19 was even a thing. It took 45 minutes for someone to check me in and an hour waiting total because they don't answer the check-in phone number and expect that everyone has their app. Decided I'd try another local grocery store's pickup (because Wal-Mart is out of stock of a lot of stuff here) and can't do any of it without an app. Wanted to get curbside pickup from a restaurant the other day... not without the app. Fine, I give up. Should have an iphone 13 in a couple of days and then I'll prob be the guy that has it till it just won't function anymore from lack of updates... as long as I don't break it.

I'll prob be the guy that has it till it just won't function anymore from lack of updates... as long as I don't break it. You sound like me dude. Original iPhone bit the dust... iPhone 3 got wet... iPhone 4S was sitting on kitchen counter in a puddle of water/windex (ain't pointin' finger, but that was the wife!) which is now perpetually sitting in a container of rice... iPhone 5S has gone through a couple repairs, and probably still survives because it never got software update. Prior to 5S repair, purchased iPhone SE 2nd gen that I hate because of its glass casing. It was quickly smashed due to my habitual/clumsy/abusive handling of the 5S that took a beating and kept ticking. I refuse to buy those stupid cases. Nonetheless, I repaired SE battery AND screen just because it's still not paid for and not under warranty. Finally, AT&T seems to think I am still on the 3G network due to having original iPhone in that account, so just yesterday I received a "complimentary" iPhone XR. Again, XR is in glass casing, ugh. So we'll see. Thing is, I never wanted even a flip phone, which made it difficult to rendezvous with future wife in NYC. She had the original iPhone and so goes the account I am still paying for now.

I ALMOST got 2 pairs of riding pants. I ordered Iron Workers armored riding jeans and cargo pants. They showed up today and they mostly fit, but whatever you'd call the area from the crotch to the waist is too short. Feels like they need to be hiked up, but there's no room. Sitting down to ride or bending at all and you'd be whisked away to The Grand Canyon. I ordered from RevZilla though, so at least returns are very easy.
This is either 4 or 5 pairs of riding pants that I've ordered now and none of them fit me right. I tried the more obvious riding pants before this, not disguised as jeans or cargos, and the fit on those were all way off. These were at least close.
Ryan told me in the past that there's a RevZilla store in Philadelphia. I may have to resort to that eventually. I've called around anywhere from here to Baltimore in the past and nobody stocks much.

Pants and clothes don't fit anymore, and it depends on your location what stores carry. Even in the same brand and size there are location differences. The same size is not the same size everywhere

I just bought a digital level that I’m pretty pumped about. Garage doors work best when plumb and or level. My bubble level although good requires a straight on view and is subject to “close enough” usage. The particular doors I’m installing now absolutely require plumb Instalation. This Empire 48” digital magnetic level has a slow beep off level that increases to solid tone on level plus it has digital readout plus several other angular functions. Home Depot is out and not available but in the App it was available for home delivery tomorrow for $9. Freakin $9 for delivery to my house in less than 24hrs from purchase. Pictures to follow maybe Sunday.
Brent, in your spare time, look up CBMedia on YouTube. He (Chad) films car content and travel content almost exclusively on a iPhone 12/13 pro phone. He much prefers the look and quality vs using a GoPro. He has several scooter tours of Thailand filmed with a remote mic and his iPhone either on a chest mount or handlebar mount.

He much prefers the look and quality vs using a GoPro. He has several scooter tours of Thailand filmed with a remote mic and his iPhone either on a chest mount or handlebar mount. I just got the standard iphone 13, no pro or pro max for more camera features. I have been digging it largely for the fact that I have a camera around. The processing is impressive. It does a great job of figuring out what a pic needs with just a push of the on screen shutter button. It's nice for a shot of scenery or taking a pic of a very nearby person or object. The lack of zoom is what ruins it for me. I have 0.5x or 1x. Beyond that is digital zoom, which gets grainy and awful. I'm used to setting up shots with the help of zoom on my DSLR. It's only around 3X optical zoom with the lens that I use, so maybe the more expensive pro/max versions wouldn't leave me with the same impression. The camera has to be on top of stuff without zoom. I went to a wildlife area and took some pics and deleted them after comparing to what I took there a couple of years ago with my Panasonic G7. Plus, I don't want a ~$1,000 phone strapped to my helmet or the scoot. The GoPros are bad enough. Phones are too big. The GoPros can deal with things that the phone will not (vibration being a big one). Ultimately, everyone has their own preferences. I looked at CB's vids and they look great. A lot of people make vids that look much better than mine with the same equipment that I use though. As always, I'm probably the weak link.

Your videos and quality look great Brent. I’m not attempting to get you to switch I was just saying what Chad uses and it surprised the heck outta me (still) that he uses a phone for his videos.
I use an iPhone7 for almost everything I do. I’ve gotten fairly good at using my 1” thumbs on this 4.3” screen. There is a huge learning curve with these devices and I doubt we even get close to pushing the limits of their capabilities overall. We all want better cameras and bigger batteries but the fact that I can snap a legible photo and send it to the opposite side of the planet through the air (at least at the ends of the trip) in seconds is pretty neat.
Hey, now you can easily make YouTube live videos. I know what I want for Xmas now.

I was so excited and then I was so disappointed. The level shipped to my house and showed up at five minutes after seven this morning. I did not get to look at it until around 2:30 PM. When I did it was the wrong item. The magnetic level is not available at all. This is very disappointing because I don’t have enough hands to hold the tube hold the clamp and hold a level all at the same time.
