Usually the 139QMB uses 18mm wide belts. The belts you listed are more common on the 1E40QMB 2T, with 788 17 28 being very common and easy to find in a quality belt (Bando).

I ran through three belts in less than three hundred miles. I believe it was from them being both too short and too wide.

The edges of the belts delaminated and strings came out. Exploding belt syndrome stopped after the 785/17/28.

Some belts are junk. Years ago I "saved money" buying some cheap belts. After having them fail in sometimes only a few miles, I quit "saving" and went back to Bando.

I'm forgot to mention that my speedometer quit on me today while driving to work. It's insane how frequent this thing throws shit at me...

Annnnddddd I laid it down hard... Went early am on sunday to get half and half. Light dew on everything, roads dry. I make it all the way to the shopping center just to eat shit on the painted crosswalk for a neighborhood of rich fucks who drive there no matter what. Scratched the crap out of the bike, tiny scrape on elbow.... broken rib! And my neck is jacked on one side. Im not sure how fast I was going, but I can say for sure it was too fast. I felt it let go and thought of what do I do now, and it was already over. Haha I went from leaned riding position, knees tucked in, to a full slide across homeplate. Luckily I was wearing jeans and a hoodie... Normally I have shorts and a tshirt on. Thinking I need some gear. Seriously.

I hate those painted sections! I've been so close to losing it on them too.

My damn chest is killing me... I really need to fix my lights. Quite tired of racing the sun home. No interest in trying to diagnose right now. Im still going to work in the morning. I will just pretend I am faking it.

I worked on a few of those scooters that you have and every one of them had issues with the headlights. On the first one I ended up running my own wires for the lights and copied what I'd done to the first onto the other one's that came in.

I don't have any pictures, but what I did was, with key on, found a hot wire from the ignition switch and tapped into that with a fused wire. Ran it up to the light switch. From there it's over to the other side where you have high and low beams. Right, you actually have an off switch for your headlights? Anyway, from the high/low switch I went to the lights. It was pretty simple. Well, simple in theory. Running the wires is a bit more than just talking about it lol. Maybe since it's your first time, an hour? Maybe I shouldn't say an amount of time lol ? It's not hard, other than removing the damn plastics.

Glad you're not seriously injured. I was flung out the back of a side by side last year and broke 4 ribs and got a lot of road rash. After the beer wore off I was miserable for about six weeks. I have a little knot where the ribs healed. Nothing for it but to keep moving. No ace bandage, just pain meds and walking about once an hour. Lucky my neighbor is a doctor. She makes house calls. She did ingrown toenail surgery on me in the garage last weekend. I hate hospitals.
