The bike is still running really well and strong. Tonight I will do gps speed runs with my GoPro, and submit my claim on the speed list.

I spoke way to soon.... The bike has failed in either the head or piston. The pcv hose became an oil squirter. There is no sense in even opening it up to find if I need to spend 20$ on this or that, so I will just drop 40+$ on a new 50mm top end. I think the hot weather lately did the motor in. Seriously considering the oil cooler install at the same time as this new top end.

This happened on last Friday during my ride to work. Rear wheel was coated in oil... I tried resetting the valves and found a little bit of the lost power, but that matters very little since the oil is still flying out of the motor. I got it home though.

I don't see why it wouldn't do the same on the 50. My stock TaoTao runs really hot oil temps, so I'm sure the 50mm stuff has to be cooking.
