I don't, that's why I asked. According to Google JB Weld can handle a constant 500f which makes it perfectly suitable for exhaust repair, right?

Got my USB/voltmeter thing today. Mounted it and then decided it looked better upside down, even if I have to read it upside down. Checked with a quality multimeter and it seems that the voltmeter reads about .4v high. The pics are with the engine off BTW. When this baby hits 14v you're gonna see some serious shit.

New mirrors arrived, still no sign of the levers that were supposed to be here a week ago. One of the mirrors is cracked.

Should I buy this Airsal 50mm high compression piston for my current kit or eventually buy this 52mm kit? Which would give the better bang for the buck? EDIT: And what head? Currently I'm planning on buying this big valve one to replace the "big valve" one that came with my 50mm BBK.

It's probably hard to beat a 52mm kit with a domed piston at that price as far as performance per dollar. You'd likely have a better quality setup with the Airsal, and maybe it would be a little easier on the crank. Regarding the head, that one's a great price and it should work. I have seen Hoca, NCY, and Naraku heads beside the Chinese stuff though, and they are definitely higher quality. The problem is, you jump up to roughly 3X the price with them. I'm not sure if you'd actually notice the difference in performance, especially if you did a little port cleanup. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/11437/big-valve-head-worthwhile

Got my 26mm 150cc carburetor and "adjustable" CDI. We'll see if the CDI is adjustable sometime in my other thread on it. I probably won't be playing with this stuff today because it's been raining all day.. (Also my filter isn't here yet.)

Well, I put the carb on anyway after cleaning up the vacuum lines a bit. Fired up after a bit of cranking without adjusting anything. I'm sure it's running rich though. (Boggy.)
I just pulled off the entire stock carb with the drain line and air box and everything still attached. It's some fully adjustable carb that looks like a Keihin, just without the Keihin markings so if anyone wants that let me know.

Ordered the 52mm Chinese kit. Place your bets for how long the stock crank will last.
Also if anyone wants a lightly used 50mm kit I'll sell it for like $20. Head and everything.

how much shipped to 78201?? what size head??69mm or 64?? I'd say maybe $10-15 for shipping. The head is a 64mm valve with the ports smoothed out by me with a Dremel. Look on page 1 for pics. I broke it in using the break in guide on this site and have done a couple oil changes since then. If I had to guess as to how many miles on it (No odo) I'd say no more than 100. Probably closer to 50, if even.

if u can find out how much exactly sent to 960 culebra san antonio tx and i will buy asap Well, gotta get the new kit and take the old one off first but I'll let you know in a week or two. I assume it'd cost a bit over $15 so in that case I'd just charge you a flat $15 and pay the rest.

Ugh. I just realized the 52mm kit I ordered was for a 152QMI. In my defense, there were no pics of the top of the piston which is different. Gonna see if they'll cancel the order and get the right one.
