So today I tore the cooling shrouds off, and was checking for any symbols marking the cylinder as a 49cc or 70cc. There were no markings at all, I did notice on the inside of the head, there was "Chab-Mo" marked on it. I googled with no luck of what it could be.
Has anyone heard of a scooter top end company "Chab-Mo"?

this is the only stamp I could find on the engine cases too... Doesn't look like an engine code to me. Does anyone know where I should be looking on this Triton clone for an engine code? I looked on the cvt side by the rear shock and that's what code I found

I have purchased a few CHAR-MO cylinder kit. They were Piagio 70cc LC Iron kit, and were of fairly decent quality.

I actually just found their website and looked at their minarelli ac stuff and all I saw was one kit, looks like 70cc. Do you know if all they make is big bore kits or do they make stock replacements too?

The ones I bought were 70cc. But they did make 50cc kits at the time. There made in Taiwan.

After putting fuel and a new spark plug in last night and kicking and kicking and kicking without it starting, I decided to check compression. It had less than 50 compression so I pulled the top end, it is a 70cc, a blown 70cc at that.

Alright, I really need some insight here with bbk's. I was thinking of getting the Hoca 70cc kit from partsforscooters. www.partsforscooters.com/169-153-70cc-Big-Bore-Head-KitBut then again, I would love to get the S6 StreetRace since it's a bit cheaper, and use the difference in money on overnight shipping. My brother is down from Maine for the week and would love to screw around on the scoots with him while he's here. Partsforscooters can ship same day and be here the next day. I've only dealt with scoottuning.ca once, and I'm pretty sure it took them a couple days to send out my order. So anyways, what I need to find out. I need a reliable daily driver kit to match my Technigas RSII pipe and PHBG19 carb, which one should I go with, Hoca or S6 Street?

Today I decided to sand down the soft seize marks on the piston and cylinder, reassemble it all, did a compression check && I got 120!! Fired her up with some starter fluid as I was wearing slippers and didn't want to kick for days and she ran! Found out I had a teeny tiny hole in the gas tank that didn't appear until it was running. I put some JB weld on it and that's where I'm at right now.
When my kid gets picked up I'll get back out there and start her up again and check for any other leaks!! So stoked to ride her around!!

Congrats! Sounds like you're getting the method down. Once you get it all figured out, it's not that hard to bring a scoot back from the dead!

Congrats! Sounds like you're getting the method down. Once you get it all figured out, it's not that hard to bring a scoot back from the dead! Following all of the build threads and reading the troubleshooting section has really proved to help the ought the past year or so I've been reading on this forum!! It's got a bog right now but it's either due to the intake not being sealed properly, or the carb isn't jetted properly, and my kit is still at your house

I haven't done much to the scoot, I did get some gasket sealant and sealed up the intake and now she starts first kick, no throttle. Haven't checked compression again but it was 120 with a small intake leak, so I know for sure compression is good. I can have her up on the center stand and let her warm up and slowly rev the throttle and she'll hit about 8-9k rpms before I let go but once I get on her to ride, it bogs bad at 4-4500rpms. Seems like she's running rich, but thankfully niz76 is mailing me my jet kit I left at his house last week and try a smaller jet! I'm also going to clean the carb 100%.

A "bog" is usually indicative of a lean tune- might need a larger jet!

I have a question,
If I mixed the gas & oil, with too much oil, would it cause a bad bog?
