I got her running almost great now! Put in a 85MJ and it's got a light sputter at about 3/8 throttle but kicks out of it quickly, I hit 44mph in about a half mile stretch of road and had to slow down as it came to an end.
To lean the mixture, would I move the needle clip up or down?
Also, I ordered the ignition, but the stock ignition came with a 4 prong connector and this one came with a 6 prong connector and 5 wires, any idea on which wires I can splice together into one connection?

Moving the clip up will drop the needle and lean it out.

Alright, so, I need a more permanent fix to this gas tank. It's got one teeny tiny pinsize whole that needs sealed.
Best/cheapest way?

Alright, I have done absolutely nothing to this scooter but post an ad on CL for it!
I've got a potential buyer interested in it, so in the next few days I'd need to get the gas tank in, throw the oil tank back in with new oil & also I want to replace all the oil && fuel lines ask shine the plastics up a bit .

I purchased a gas tank for 40$ from eBay Saturday night, should be here Monday. I plan to re-wire and hook up the new ignition when I install the new tank. I haven't had her running in the past couple weeks but next week she'll be running, hoping to start my new job next Monday as well. Money's been tight and so has time!

Riding my new 4t scooter has got me pretty depressed, debating on either a 70cc build or possibly even slapping my 90 engine on it with a new crank clutch and variator. The options are unlimited, will see how my bank account is in the next couple weeks I may branch out and do something big for once and not be a cheap skate Stay tuned friends!

Gas tank, new fuel petcock that fits the new tank, and ignition all got finally installed and completed last night thanks to my brother for fixing my ignition re-wiring, had it wrong and no spark but she runs now! She's alive! Started up first kick with spark and also came immediately to a perfect idle! I rode her about 20 miles last night, with a top speed of 50.1 mph!

Moving the clip up will drop the needle and lean it out. So moving the clip down Will raise the needle and richen it up

Take the needle along and try it. I'm not sure, but if it doesn't fit securely then you can stop by a hardware store and see if they have small e clips. Should be super cheap if they carry them.
