Harley are not selling the sportster in Europe from 1st January. It can't make the new Euro 5 emissions. Could be quite a blow to sales. They have no plans to replace it either. I guess it will not make economic sense to design a new engine.

You would not know that HD was in trouble in KC. They had a harley plant here but I have no idea if it is still in operation. The harley's and crotch rockets thunder by my place every night with decent weather due to bars in the area. I like going in industrial plants.

Honestly I’ve seen the factory grow and change a lot in 20 yrs of living within 15 miles of it. It is a cool thing but also just another factory.

I had a tough day at work, I had to show James Bonds Spectre to a family renting one of the theaters. Its been tough watching the movie eating popcorn and junior mints while surfing the scooter forums. The sacrifices I have to make in these tough times.

Today fixed my workshop light which would keep going out from new and got to the point where shaking it did not help. Traced the problem and fixed it with a bit of Rizla cigarette packet, funny last time I use to check anything with those was on old points model vehicles to see just when the timing was coming up to BTDC by putting paper between points and gently griping till it slid out as you come up to the top. I cannot remember if the cardboard flap was about 15 or 25 thou as either done as a rough points gap or plug gap. Anyhow light fixed now and working

I spent 4 hours in the health clinic getting my face stitched back together after I fell again today. I look more and more like my avatar. My nose is still bleeding. They took X-rays of my elbow and wrist. The wrist is sprained.
