I am a "sandwhich artist" at Subway. I hate $5 footlongs, LOL. Haha! I was a "Sandwhich Artist" at Subway, too! This was before the $5 footlong. Can't imagine it now. I think it's pretty funny how these places give their employees these over the top job titles. I worked at Domino's as a "Delivery Expert", also. Brent - I live with my nearly 80 year old grandmother. They can definitely be grumpy. I'm moving out in June because of it, lol. She kicked me out, then later on told me she didn't kick me out - after I found a roommate, apartment, and began packing... She will need my help with some things so we made a deal that I can keep my shop set up and scooters here, so long as I help out with stuff.

I'm a chef ...have worked as a kitchen manager for restaurants but mostly as a sous-chef in the hotel/restaurant industry, started in 1974 in the USMC and eventually backed it up with 2 years in culinary arts; am presently chef/building manager in assisted living so I wear many hats here. Brent, caregiving is a full time job and not easy, especially when a family member is involved.

That is a neat pic. Man, that brings back memories of my bus driver pointing in his giant mirror warning me to stop doing whatever stupid thing I was doing. lol

Well I work 3rd shift as an Assistant Grocery Manager at Kroger. haha. It pays good, health care and Union. As much as I hate the union its job security. I see myself with them for a while. I'm only 21 too.
On the side I repair Xbox 360's and other game consoles out of home. This extra cash is probably going to be my funds for the scooter.

I should probably add that I worked 5 years at a local theatre backstage. It was good work, but only "on-call" so it wasn't a steady job. Decent pay, and no taxes taken out. That's always a plus ;D
It's nice seeing what everyone does for a living. I always did wonder what Brent did. Serious respect for the caregiving, man. I doubt I'd be able to handle it!

Everyone wonders what I do. I was accused of being a drug dealer on more than one occasion. Even had a fellow calling my relatives to tell them I was selling drugs. The only speed I buy or sell is the kind measured in a 1/4 mile. You aren't allowed to have a nice car unless everyone knows how you paid for it apparently (and what dealer drives a super loud mustang and speeds and does burnouts constantly anyway?). It's easy to seem like you have money to spare when you live with your parents (real cool at 31, I know) and have basically no savings cause it all went or goes to a car or scooters. One of my friends was talking about having $40,000 in savings and retirement, some have nice houses, half of them are married some with kids. I was thinking, holy ... it's just me, I've got a little over $1000 in the bank for an emergency, a Mustang that doesn't run now, 3 scooters, and some random junk. Definitely not what people seem to think I've got when they just notice me riding by in the middle of the day (not that I leave the house during the day anymore ).

Too late! That story of the bus driver reminded me of when I was in school That, and I'm already addicted to scooters.

So I guess this is more of a support group for scooter addiction than a scooter repair/performance forum. ;D
