Congrats Shaker!
Be careful! Those things are top heavy and people like to overload 'em. I worked at a site once and the boss had us put about 2 feet of broken concrete in the bottom and cover it up with wood and drywall etc... When the driver tried to winch it up onto the truck he knew right away it was too heavy and stopped. We ended up having to unload the whole thing. The driver was pissed as hell. He and the boss nearly came to blows.

I was aware that the charge was $27 more per ton. I was really worried about the rain and snow weighing the thing down, and I covered it with a tarp. Everything was wet from the snow as it was. Any how, the folks on the phone were friendly, helpful, and they were right on schedule. I think your hooking up with a good company.

My title at work is AmTryke Coordinator but I wear many hats from doing shipping and receiving, Purchasing and invoicing, Technical support, logistics and IT Manager. Here is the website www.amtrykestore.org/We manufacture and produce therapeutic trykes for disabled children and adults. On the side I do 3D animation and video editing for several local TV stations and for independent films. I did work in the movie Stuart Little, I designed the Bi-Plane that he flies. I am currently working on a 30 minute animation for next years film festival which is in a way a spin off from Romeo and Juliet but is based upon two squirrels and the forest animals. Prior to working for Amtryke I was an IBM employee and traveled from state to state repairing large networks I did that for 8 years until they did a company wide layoff. Prior to IBM I was a mechanic for several years I started off as a small engine mechanic and work my way up through the boats and motorcycles and then to cars.

I've been with WM for a little over a month now and am still pretty happy with it, and yes it does pay pretty good. Not as much per hour as what I was making as a teamster but its more consistent and year round so it will pay more in the long run and has better benefits.

Brent I guess I can say that I am well rounded...
I went to school for Graphic art Design and Fine Media as a Major. I did computer technology as a minor. I tried for several years to get hooked up with a production company as my heart is really into do the 3D animation. Well you cant pay your bills on a wish or a dream thats why there was a minor in computers. While I was going to school I worked as a mechanic to pay my way through school.
