ok i have a spare engine mount on the way and im looking at making a new subframe so i can run a rear face intake the left of my thinking is where the engine mounts to the scoot as you can see it will be braced diaganly infront of (well now behind the carb) im thinking about 4 inches will be added Attachments:

i did get my spare engine mount today and even with the body panels on the scoot i took some measurements and have a rough drawing of what i want to do the bosses on the engine are off set inboard 1 inch and are 1 inch wide so now that i have the replacement engine mount i realy wish i had a mock up engine but ill have to pull the body panels off and drop the engine out for this or at least get the body panels off so i can confirm the measurements but from looking at it im not sure about braces yet it may be just some gussets Attachments:

:thumb: Great choice!!! I was just looking at some bigger L/C set-ups myself. I think you will have the best all around high torque and still reliable as hell scoot on the road with all that tuned in well :riding: :checkered:

Just tell her you bought yourself a birthday present and hand her a parts list for your bday and Christmas from the family. Suggest overtime when they say the parts are too expensive. lol

ok i have been thinking about an intake as it sits right now i have been running the hoca intake the down side is it hits the frame the area is crowded and it might be hard to get my second injector bung on it some where the other issue is with the clocking on my thorttle body the throttle cable hits the cyl
so here is my plan with the scretch for my intake
i will make a base plate out of al and that will bolt into the holes for the existing intake are on that base plate i will mount a zuma 125 intake this will allow me to clock the intake in any direction i want it also has an injector bung on it already the only thing i will have to do is some where drill a hole and put a nipple in for the oil injection
i would think that the intake for a 125 cc 4 stroke would be large enough for the 100 cc 2 stroke

well its not a big block case so that means a trip to the machine shop
the crank is trashed well its my fault its trashed i lent out my case spliter and dont remeber who i lent it to and i got impatient
the crank is only 73mm when i put my caliper on it so i guess i need to figure out how much clearance i need and get the money for a crank and get that here so i can send the case to the machine shop
i dont think this thing was ever apart the rollers were flat spotted big time and there was still a wedding band in there

Measure the clearance of the stock case and crank and duplicate it for your big block crank.Brent has it well documented in one of his builds..Ive read 1mm clearance all around is minimum for high performance stuff..Remember the cylinder base area must be machined for the bigger cylinder also..
