It would be nice to not have to run WOT all the time. Whatever do you mean? My throttle only has two positions. On and off.

Gear noise I think its cool it doesn't grab or lock up at all but I think soon it will wear the crap out of them. And sorry about the crappy finish of the cut.

Gear noise is bad. It usually means the gears are not meshing properly. As you surmise it can lead to accelerated wear due to the wear particles released which also contribute to bearing wear and failure.
It sounds like the gears are too close together, or have pitch diameters that overlap.

When I separated them they where not pressed all the way there was a gap I pressed them all the way no gap so there rubbing lol I'm gonna rip in to it tonight may go back to the other set up for now until I can get a 54MM LC BBK. Don't like the slower acceleration.

Don't like the slower acceleration. You were supposed to measure that gap and use it when putting the new gear on.

Yea I realized that however I put the 11.1 gears back together and there are marks I could follow thankfully it is much quieter. I am learning more and more each day but should pay much more attention. Now its back to leaning over the handle bars when WOT at dead stop.

When we were doing the drag race scene with Robert's Skeedr,we felt the 13.5 to 1 was too low and the 10 to 1 was too high,,kinda points toward around 11 to 1 huh??That was/is with a 52X45 setup,KX100 iggy, big reed,28 carb,& race pipe...

I like acceleration so I think its gonna stay 11.1 just an experiment that kind of sucked lol 9to1 is just horrible I kind of want more acceleration but that will come with more displacement the CVT and gears are about as good as it gets with what I have so Hoca vari and 54mm BBK and I will leave it at that. Next step is a secret. I am actually going to consider AC it is much cheaper.

I tried the 9:1 gears in mine multiple times and they always resulted in LESS top speed and all around worse performance than the 11:1's for me.
