Parts are hard to get for the Morini motors,SD50 is bottom mount,seat bucket is steel welded to the frame,difficult to work on,did I mention parts are hard to get yet?? I know  it sucks because around here your lucky to find a 4poke for less than $600 lol ppl are crazy. |

Wait until just before Christmas when people need extra money and they're selling things they aren't using, which is scooters in the freezing cold weather. There'll be plenty and they'll be dirt cheap. Start saving!  |

its all good now sold for $400 trying to find another build lol I didn't want to sell it but I felt bad for this kid. Maybe my next one will be a Moroni based Hyosung. By the way Is Moroni any Good? 70cc and exhaust lol Found a good thred hope its the same engine its an SD50 I am going to get it tomorrow $250 You must like that fella!The Aldy 90 motor is tops for making a strong build,The Hyosung SD50 has nothing to talk about other than its a reliable,well built scoot with zero performance parts,zero swap ability,and did I say hard to find parts for??  |

lol John ( 190mech). Ya cristini bummed to hear you sold the 90! You were just getting that thing rippin too! Hopefully you have just as much fun with your next build. I think I heard somewhere it's kinda hard to find parts for the Morini stuff? hehehe |

Its OK I got curious and got it cheap lol what a hunk of sht if anything I will weld new motor mounts for another adly. Later I will start the thread.

I looked into the possibilities of a hot Morini build,,thick cases=big crank,nice CVT system,after getting one in the shop the crank is a one off design,cylinder studs close together,non existent gearing swaps,AND hard to find parts,lead me to an "oh well" dead end..Maybe a 30lb nitrous bottle strapped to the side of the scoot will make run like a Minarelli design,but not as well as a MX splice!!  |
