Well I guess I need a bws100 motor lol but 54 should be good enough I am learning a lot out of all of this so I can make better choices on future designs. . Very soon I am going to start a collection of parts from automatic transmission parts to MX parts I will have something interesting built by the end of next year!!!

The BWS100 is said to be a dog engine, but the 90+ stuff is cheap and fun!Quite a few builds have been done here, scout 'em out and learn the good and bads of the builds..My take on them is they are ideal street motors, fast from a stop, good cruise speeds at decent RPM's,can be made to run quite well with low buck mods, last a long time..What could be better?

Here is an idea Ive had floating around in my head for a while, perhaps you could solidworks something up and bring it to reality,,an engine,a seperate gear case assy, joined together by a welded tubular structure,no casting needed then..the tube 'frame' would have CNC cut mount plates for the engine and gearcase, and all the attach points for the rear shock, pipe, mount to frame hangers,etc..A bolt on 'swing arm' for the free side of the wheel would stiffen the whole mess up also..Now draw it!!

Perfect to attach a MX motor to. I've pondered that also.

That's awesome I actually started to design that from the other thread haven't been able to work on is much deing wrapped around my scoot love the idea buddy it looks like it will be good once designed its all yours I hope we can keep this all on this forum I hate seeing other ppl on other forums run there mouths about 49ccscoot that's why I would like to ask Brent if I can put a watermark over all future uploads. I don't want any copy cats lol they don't deserve it. This is the most any forum has ever tolerated me as I feel that I'm not very good at making quality posts. Thanks to all of you!!!

As long as your images are for posting here, and meet the forum/proboards guidelines, I don't have an issue with you watermarking your stuff. Adding your username to the mark as well would be good. BTW, we're glad to have you here. I haven't seen any issues with your posts and you've brought up some interesting ideas.

Is something like this OK my friend? i didn't see nothing that prohibits this sort of thing but I may have also misunderstood something. Also I have always had weird and out of this world ideas maybe soon something good could come out of all of the bright people here. And change the scoot scene forever lol

That's fine with me. I will note that if you have anything you really want to mark as your own, mark it in an area where it's not a solid color. Otherwise, if someone wants to use it without the mark, they'll easily edit it out. An example in the posted pic would be to put it across the fan blades so it has multiple shades that are at least a little tougher to deal with.

Well i feel like an idiot decided to check the plug and carb condition all is well how ever I notice the carb was turning freely so I decided to check the clamp well it was loose lol now no more bogging at WOT does not go any faster though just gets there quicker. Just another lesson about rushing an engine swap.

Well I decided to try some more CVT tuning today with the lightest weights I have and the stiffest contra spring what a difference it accelerates like crazy compared to before today. Feels like it wants to lift the front wheel the engine revs pretty high before it grabs but when it does it launches great but feels harder to keep calm in traffic. Love it!! And all stock stuff between the two engines. Now its time to make a good exhaust and larger carb.

Vento 12". Does any one know the spline count on the stock Mina out put shaft? Also would it be worth swapping my primary gears with a press use the ATV Primary with The scoot secondary?

I have been looking for spline counts and output shaft diameters for the GY6 50 and 150 also. It seems that must be super secret stuff. I have a 50cc 12" wheel and disk brake assy to match up with a 150cc.
I would think changing gears to whatever you want would be AOK as long as they fit the shafts and mesh right. Spacers and bushings may be required. Anyone know if they use different tooth sizes or pressure angles?
I plan on using my ~50cc gearing ratio on a 150cc just to keep my speed down and avoid 'Imperial entanglements'. It will also help on hills. I am not as much about going fast as I am on maintaining speed. That way I can avoid impeding traffic.
It would be nice to not have to run WOT all the time.
