46.3 was not on flat ground, 40-41 would be the flat run speed.
The particular hill I hit 46.3 is probably going to be my downfall. It's where I learned what my tires say when they're being pushed to their limits ")
On the other hand, I now have 2254 miles on the BBK and going strong.

My fastest on a downhill is 49.8 and I felt like my motor was going to blow so I let up lol. My average flat ground run is 42-43 mph

Update: Iv got the cvt dialed in good now. 40 @ cruse and 46 mph top.(GPS) Hills are a breeze. Dropping around 2-3 mph on decent sized ones. I believe I could get better performance with a decent carb and pipe. @ 450mi.

"Dood...that's the best I can get from my 50mm kit.

What's your RPMs at 40 ?"Thanks man. Wish I knew. I have the Trailtech on the scoot wish list. But not wound out at all. Nice comfortable, happy RPM range. Probably a little under peak powerband. "what brand and weight rollers are u using"Ok. Let's clarify a little, Then set up. Cruse for me is a smidge under WOT. Top was tucked on smooth, flat, blacktop W/ stands of trees on each side (no wind). Bike: 14 Dykon Express QMB 47mm BBK ($35). A9 cam, Stock head, pipe and carb - W/ pod filter. 10w 40. Cvt: Stock clutch W/ yellow torque and clutch springs. Hoca 169-415 Performance Variator 5 and 6g cheap SPExpress rollers. (I have weighed the rollers and each is off a little from the next. can't recommend) Bando 669 18 30. Belt seems a little short and wide compared to my stock belt. (doesn't run all the way to the top) 165Lb rider. Blue CDI, Orange ignition, Ngk spark. -Your CVT needs may differ, This works well for me.-

Got about 500 miles in, still can't get past 32 MPH, ordered some 7 gram rollers to see if that will help.

Got about 500 miles in, still can't get past 32 MPH, ordered some 7 gram rollers to see if that will help. The big benefit of the 50mm kit is torque. The 50mm kit offers a significant torque increase over the 47mm kit which would help a lot with a heavier load. However, like others have pointed out, the 50mm kit is a bit less forgiving in high rpm conditions. On my scoot with the 50mm kit I find I don't have to wring it out as hard to move along good due to the extra torque. I don't push my scooter too hard. Rarely going over 7,500 rpm @ about 37 - 39 mph. If I go WOT, I can get to 46 and change fairly easily. Never went more than about 1/2 mile or so. I guess I might hit 47-48 on a long enough smooth flat, tucked. I weigh 210 now (but slowly getting heavier because I like beer) :-( Anyway, if you're not one to push your scoot too hard, a 50mm kit might really help you. Otherwise, if you tend to like WOT a lot, I would stay with the 47mm kit and keep twerking it like you're doing. Good luck.

I had a chance to ride a stock motor today and I forgot how little power they have. With my current 47mm set up I run 45mph @8200 I have done a lot of testing with different springs and sliders of different weights. I do have the 49/17 gears and was wondering if they had actually helped me or made no difference in the end. The only failure I have had was the base gasket leaked, no leaks with the new one. The head I run was from a 60cc model and I was thinking of trying the 49cc head to see if I have more compression.
I currently run a 1500 main spring, gives nice torque but I was able to go faster on the top end with a 1000 main spring near 50mph
Any thoughts on this let me know

My 50mm is back on my work bench for new configurations since ive installed the 47mm quality BBK and i love it. 1500rpm contra spring, performance variator and i got a better vented clutch bell. Awesome! the 50mm will be back on there soon few weeks but 47mm for now getting good torque and top end 50-52 on flat and most hills 40-43 significant hills 35-38. Everything takes just a little longer the the 50mm but didnt loose but 5-8 mph tho. im a 6'2" 175 pounds tho so that maybe be why. My goal is to build a 50mm kit thats as reliable as this 47mm bbk with top speeds in the high 60s. Also just to clarify ths is a hobby for me not a much needed use of transportation but i do ride it to work everyday 60 miles round trip i love the ride.. THX ill keep you posted

If you want to go WOT a lot, have you considered a 2T scoot? They are much more forgiving and have great top ends with a few mods. Don't get me wrong, I love my 4T's but as far as scooters, you seem like a great candidate (based on your desires with your scooter hobby) for a 2 stroke scooter.
