You don't HAVE to change out the crank for that kit... but it's likely to fail. I'd suggest a quality replacement. The cam is your choice. Might get some more power out of the cam, but piston to valve clearance should be checked. But that is a Big Bore Kit of cylinder + head with valves. Other things I will change the CVT components from original to Sport and maybe put a new carb too. Tires need to be changed too, but the tire choice is blury. Kenda K701 Allwetter 3.50-10 56L M+S tire
Kenda K701 3.00-10 47L M+SKenda K324 3.00-10where did you find the kenda k701 tire? thats some serious siping in those tread blocks!

can we get a review in that carb after you get her up and going? ive never really read any except for a few people saying they dont "look" or "seem" any different than a glixal or other cheap keihin knock off. buts thats before theyve installed them.a true performance review would great. ive always been impressed with any naraku products ive had. oh..and sweet tires, like the sidewall profile. look like real performers.

Well, I have to wait for the spring to do that review on that carb.. I think, that the scoot will be faster. But we will see that, when the spring is here. I will use only Naraku parts, to upgrade my scoot: Crankshaft (maybe!)(Naraku Heavy Duty with 16 teeth) Cylinder kit
(Naraku 72mm cylinder kit) Cylinder head (Naraku) Camshaft (Naraku Touring) Variator
(Naraku with 5g weights), Clutch
(Naraku Sport), Belt
(Naraku Type 669mm - 139QMB QMA for 10"), Inlet manifold (Naraku V.2 - 50cc GY6), Carburator (Naraku V.2 50-90ccm - 20mm with 85 main jet). Air Filter a) Naraku Double Layer - 139QMB, GY6 50ccm or b) Remove the stock airbox and use 38-40mm Tuning cone filter

cant wait to hear how it turns out. ive often contemplated trying that touring cam myself. i have an a9 and i like it, i figure its probably more along the line of the v2 racing cam. the touring cam sounds more suited to my daily needs tho. sounds like your gonna have a nice machine when your done. amazing how the money starts adding up on such a little motor when we get bit by that ol scoot bug.

i might would hold off on the crankshaft if the stock ine seems to be in good shape still. i dont hear of many people swaping it out on a 72cc build unless the old ones bad. but preventitive maininace can help protect your investment

OMG! Touring cam is good idea! But a lot of work you have to do to make all new parts work well together. How you manage yours electrical power to new cylinder kit? Racing CDI or?
