Hey, 90GTVert ! I was thinking to do a double fuel tank scooter, by installing the other fuel tank to the trunk box on the rear rack. How big is the fuel tank? 4,5L or 5,5L?

My TaoTao seems to hold basically a gallon (~4L), but I've never tried to precisely measure it. Specs vary from one site to the next. If you're installing a second though, I'd go as big as you can hide or fit. I modded one tank on a different scoot to hold 2 gallons instead of 1.4 and very much enjoy less fill ups.

I did a sketch to show the system of 2 fuel tanks. The idea is to fill the top tank and while filling up that, the bottom one will fill too. Maybe this 2 tank system will stress the rear shock. Then I would put the other tank to my second upcoming project - 50cc+ Moped Micro Car. When I will have money to do that Pic of system

You may have to mod the #1 tank's filler neck and obviously the cap. Some filler necks have a hole for a vent that wouldn't work well for that. This seems like the easiest way to fill. The other option that comes to mind is a switch to use one or the other of the tanks.
The rear shock should be fine. I'd be more worried about the rack and trunk holding up.

Well, 90GTVert , I might buy a reinforced rear rack (that is on my "parts list to buy"). One user ( greggkinney ) wanted me to do a review on that 20mm Naraku 4T Carb., that I brought. I think I will do that first to see the difference between the new and old original carb., maybe the original is 18,5 mm. I do not know - for now. While I change the old Carb to new one, I will swap the fuel tank too, with manual tap and hoses.

Oh. another thing I need to do is swap the sparkplug, then I can try the sparkplug tool that I brought. Second reason for doing that, is - when I tried to start my scoot last time, it did not start. Maybe that was the ignition problem - the sparkplug? I do not know. I hope the sparkplug swap fixes that issue. If I have time I do the rest of work too. When I change the fuel tank, then I have to use the original fuel level sensor, because, the new one that I ordered 09.01.2017 is still coming M.I.A.
Jobs List (January 2017):
1. Swap sparklug 2. Swap fuel tank (original fuel level sensor will be used) 3. swap fuel hoses 4. Swap fuel filter 5. Install manual fuel tap 6. Install 20mm Naraku Carb.

Today I checked the NEW carbs needle, Main Jet size and air intake size.
- the needle is adjustable up and down - the main jet is 82, I beleve. The marking on the jet was so tiny, I used the magnifier glass. The carb size - I do not know. The site, said that it is 20 mm. I beleve it could be 19mm by eye.
- Carbs intake side 19mm - Carbs air filter intake 36mm (inside) and 38mm (outside).
I found a solution, to my 5mm fuel hose fitment problem to an 7mm manual tap connection nipple. I simply heated the hose with lighter, then pushed the hose over the 7mm nipple, while it was soft. Same solution worked on the fuel filter connection too.
I brought 1,5m long fuel hose with 5,5mm inside diameter, to use instead of the 5mm. Deam, now that I found the solution to the 5mm fitment froblem, I do not need that 5,5mm rubber fuel hose. So I wasted 10€ for nothing.

Today I swaped the fuel tank, fuel hoses, fuel filter and carb. I used the old fuel sensor, but it was nasty and did not work fine. Maybe next week I get the new sensor and then swap it - I hope.

While I was swaping the fuel system, I found out the reason, why my scoot stoped working on 31.12.2016, when I was riding home. The terminal connections for the ignition coil, that connetct to the place shown on the next picture, where loose and rubbish. So I did cut them off and placed new terminals - Now is all fine. I only need to: tune the new carb, change the tire valves and tires, swap the ignition coil, swap fuel level sensor, swap CDI, swap CVT components (clutch, variator, belt), swap CVT cover + kickstart components. Repair and paint plastics

Hey, 90GTVert! I swaped the original fuel tank, with vacum tap to an fuel tank, with hose conection. Now I do not use the vacum connection on the intake. Near future (maybe summer), I plan to swap the exhaust. With the original exhaust, there is a vacum hose between exhaust and cylinder head cover (for now). When I swap the exhaust, can I put a vacum hose between intake vacum connection (not in use right now) and the cylinder head cover (plan showed on next picture).

OK. For now, I have like Turbo whistle, while I drive. I Think it is the cylinder head Pressure, what is going out from the exhaust It is awsome sound, but I will loose that, when I swap the exhaust

im not sure of the whistleing sound your talking about but when i first bought my scooter it whistled sometimes (notgood).. i noticed during the day when it was 90 degree it ran great and no whistle, when it turned night and the temp droped 20degree or more it ran weak and whistled. found out it was running lean in the cooler temps and whistleing. like an old husqavara chainsaw leaned outand melting😁. just thought about this as i was reading your post. might wanna check your air fuel ratio at the coolest time of day just for safetys sake. happy tuning!!!

Well, Then I would need to install an oxygen sensor and the Air/Fuel ratio gauge. These are not cheap.
