Looks like a bumble bee! I like my scoots small and light weight. You could always motor swap!

But, if it is a 4T, then it will not sound like a bee...or a weed wacker, ha ha. That does look like a decent price, and I would bet they would take a bit less if you showed up with cash.

The Baccio VX50 uses the same Hunter Style frame and looks almost identical (they come in a few different variations). It's a 2t. These scoots come out of China in all sorts of configurations. I'm sure they sell that exact same body style as a 49cc 2t, 49cc 4t, 150cc 4t, and probably even electric haha. Here's one from a member here...

If so, why is it not easy to take a 4T scoot that is also available in a 2T and put a 2T engine in it? I don't hear of many folks doing this. If it needs a different engine mount, surely the factories already have one as they supply the same scoot with different engines off the same assembly line...right? Not that I want a 2T mind you...ahem, but it would be nice to have that option. Bill

If anything a welder could make anything happen another reason I like that scoot is the bigger rims. The yellow would change the first day I own it and rear fender would get cut smaller or disappear lol I definitely can't wait to fix up that Moroni crap so I can sell it so I can get something more my style maybe a roughhouse.

I have though, seen the mount for the 2nd rear shock that the 150cc's use on a 49cc frame that only uses one shock...

My opinion is mostly moot here as the only 2 stroke experience I have is with an outboard boat motor. But I can say that they are lighter per horsepower than their 4 stroke counterparts.

For newbies.... A modded (Cammed, BBK, tuned) 50mm 4T is usually actually faster than most of the stock 2T scoots I come across just out riding. I come across them occasionally in traffic and sometimes we even "race" for the fun of it. Most of the time they can't believe a 4T beat their 2T Same with the brand new ones I work on. 2T alone does not mean it's fast-er. Just know they CAN be fast as heck no doubt. And yes... you can make them extremely fast. I was riding and working on two strokes since about 1970 and I'm down to only 7, 2 stroke bikes right now because I recently sold one. But I'm just talking about stock 50cc 2T's that I usually come across on the streets riding around. Not especially fast at all. If you see an expansion pipe..watch out

I'm still waiting for an 80-90cc 4T to beat the cheap mild 90cc 2Ts I usually ride. So far, they've all been left WAY behind... and it's usually small riders on the other scoots and me at nearly 300lb. I wish I had a GoPro when I raced a whole group and destroyed them (many were 80cc, some with $6-700 in receipts from a local mechanic)... or the time some guy was trying to show off at a red light in front of a bar on a modded TaoTao and I pulled up on a 2T. I forget if it was a 49cc or 70cc in it at the time, but I remember being sad that I had a half pipe on it that didn't do much. It didn't matter. The people in the outdoor bar area laughed at him when the fat guy smoked him after he had been revving it and trying to do little wheelies and showing off his underscoot lights beside me.
I'm not a 4T hater by any means. I just don't really see them as equals if performance is what's being compared. I think it's great that my TaoTao can average 80MPG and get 100MPG if I really try. It's quieter too. I look forward to putting a BBK on it and other parts. Even if it's not as quick/fast as the 2Ts, it can be fun.

I like 4T for its reliability and that's all I have ever worked on up to the point I got my scoot I just sold then I fell in love with 2T I could not believe a tiny 49cc engine could go 40MPH on flat ground being completely stock even. Imagine the 1.8l in my cage being a 2T it would have around 400HP lol

Anytime you want to lose to a 4T...badly....just let me know My 2T gets bad gas mileage, so you'll have to ride over here on your 4T.

I am a member on an energy research Site, and over there, last year I believe, 2 guys had a race of their solar electric bikes. (One guy was in Australia and the other was in England I believe) Both used the same gps software and when they made a video, they posted to youtube with a split screen showing both bikes and a count down to 0, meaning GO! They raced up to 30 mph and you could watch the speed on each screen to see who was winning and who won.
Obviously, one guy had to send his video to the other guy and it was mixed together but, it made for an interesting "race" video that really did pit one bike against the other and the clock...just not in real time.
Maybe you guys could do something like this? Unless one of you is "Chicken". (Ha ha)
Maybe even place a small wager on it or just bragging rights?
