Still having issues. I raced my son and he was on the 90, he gets me on the jump but i reel him in quick. Just need some roller tuning. So if i slowly roll on the throttle it does better but anything past 1/2 throttle it will sputter. I have been through 92-80 main jets. I also put on the stock airbox(was awful).
Could it be possible an airleak? The Doppler intake boot just wont stay tight on the intake itself. Its like im hitting a rev limiter or floating valves is what i can equate it to.

Or maybe timing? My pick up is not adjustAble but i could make some slots if i need to advance it.

Ok this may or may not have anything to do with your issue, but way back when the P200 was doing the same thing and I installed a new 12v battery and it totally fixed the problem! Idk how, idk why but it did....

I was thinking about that as well, maybe i need to put a charger on it. I have the stock charging system still in place and i would think thats adequate, i will give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

Also did you put the CF reeds on the stock reed block? The tips shattered on one of mine and caused me loads of tuning issues.

Yes, i did. I have seen that happen the last time i used them on stock cage. I think it could be the rubber boot between carb and intake. Took for a test drive and carb literally fell off! There are groves on carb and intake but the more you tighten hose claps it starts pushing itself off. Fugg Guess a trip to home depot buy a small piece of hose. If that doesnt do it i will check reeds. It idles fine and rips for a sec and if you feather the throttle you can get moving. It also varies and doesnt do it everytime, just randomly. But you cant run wot ever as its like its missing. Will report back

Ok, richened up the needle and moved back to a 90 main. The wot sputter has just about gone away. I have a 92 main but think i will need a 100 and a few in that range. Almost ready to make vid! It pegs the speedo at 1/2 throttle i would bet this baby will do around 70mph. Now to find some jets!

Slapped in a 92 main last night thought it would be good to ride this morning to work. Bad idea, outside temp was around 60 and scoot reached 60c by the time i got to work took forever to warm it up. Guess i need to just wait on some mains. It usually bogs when its rich from previous experience and it is not doing that. It is sputtering which i assume is lean, plug looks good so i am just going to go bigger. Cant hurt

That would explain why you only got to 140 degrees this morning.

I thought bog was too rich,i ran an 80 and still same thing. Seemed to run better with larger jet. Maybe i will drop down to a 75. Sure seems small to me but ill give it a try.

It's entirely possible that if you are using jets from different makers than they could be sized wrong. Company A's 75 jet could be the same size as company B's 90 jet. I'd get some jetting gauges. And since you are at a 92 now and it's sputtering, then go down to a 90, then 88 and so on until you get it to run right. Don't go way down and then come back up.
