I usually try to start large and go down. Since it sputtered i assumed lean as i thought rich would bog. You are correct, i have a box of stage 6 jets and then a few loose jets. I have bits to check id of jets. Ill just stay away from the loose jets. Just need some time... I have also used the temp gauge as to know if im fat or not. But the weather in texas has been 90 one day and 70 the next. Makes it hard for consistency as ambient temp will make a difference.

We're getting the same weird weather here as well so I know that just adds to the difficulty.

Well, it runs like a champ! I ended up with a 90 main but i think i need to adjust the needle and about 3/4it will hesitate a bit unless you just crack it wide open. Half the time i dont know if the front wheel is on the ground. I tore up an mhr fixed pulley half so just using a stock one with the mhr for now. I know...vids!! Coming soon, want to put a 92main in and see if thats too fat. It was 88 degrees here today and i saw a high of 77c on the thermo. Running wot cools it down vs mid range heats it up. Needle adjustment imo.

Went past a radar today doing 62 with more left in it.. I have to make a 1 mile pass on the highway and damn thing kept cutting out. I am assuming fuel filter needs changes, float needs adjusted or line is pinched some where. Also need a new coil as the wnd that snaps on my plug is crap. Runs better in cool early morning than warm afternoon. Of course cool air has more density. Just working bugs out..

Make sure your ignition system is fully checked from front to back and is working 100% because it can cause all kinds of strange and headcracking symptoms. Loose caps, bad ground on the coils, bad connection between coil and wire or wire and cap. Make sure you check and replace everything thats a liability.

Yup. Usually the NGK CR2 gets it done, they're like $20 or less.

Still having issue with bike cutting off sometimes when running high rpm for long stretch. Its like it runs out of gas, i let off a few seconds and its fine. Scary on the highway! No pinched fuel lines, vent tube is clear, using 1/4 gravity fed from tank. Could it be possible i need a mechanical pump? Other than that performance is solid.

It could also be in one of the ignition components.
