Yeah a hotter plug is harder to foul. On some distributor sites I've seen it recommended to go with a hotter plug (lower number for NGK) for "stop n go" or "city driving" and a colder plug (higher number for NGK) for more "touring" or long wide open driving...

I've heard lots of bad stories about those Chinese fake okos. You can get a new genuine Taiwanese oko for like $70 or a used mikuni vm24 for cheaper, I'd go w either one of those.

How's the condition of your silencer, if it's packed of carbon that could foul plugs, possible but maybe not likely here. Just another thing to check.

Like I said not likely...
Reading back through looks like you've been fighting this since the beginning. I didn't see mention of what ignition your using. If it's stock it could be failing on you or just not up to the task your asking if it. Rpm wise. Not sure if it's relevant but on my airsal 77 it ran beautiful with the MVT on it then I tried the stock ignition to see how it would do. Fail, it ran like trash breaking up and would not rev out. It was acting rich. Do you have another motor you can swap parts between?

Have you advanced the stock iggy? On my current setup it would cut out with the stock timing. Once advanced it cleared right up.

I just popped in a br8es and ran like a champ back to work. I have to hit the freeway for a few miles so I can't have it acting like poop. I did notice the filter was really dirty so I just took it off. Was on lunch break in a hurry. I will make a vid of it running great on the way home.

I have a complete stocker also, I plan to steal some parts off of. Someone please anwser this question. What should my head temp be? It's 70 here ambient and I ran around 165 degrees. Is this hot enough? Could running at such cool temp cause this problem?

I would need to notch the stator but I might have one with notches. Just 3-4 degrees? This is for better bottom or top end? Right now with new plug there is plenty of both

youtu.be/fO6BVAF0o_4This was on my way home. Taped my new s7 to the headlight real quick with duct tape. Vid isn't great quality but this is the best I could do at the time. It's running like a top at the moment. Max speed was 64 in vid. If you turn your phone sideways video is better
