Say niz76 that flywheel you had for the stator you sent me, do you know if it fit the large taper (12pin crank) or no? I assume it would be a 4 bolt cooling fan too, i would have to find a new one of them from a 125cc gy6. Found a thread last night on different mina stators that made me think of this. Let me know what you turn up, i'll buy it from you if you find it

(I shoulda figured- I've got 3 Adly engines kicking around here) It does have the taper to fit the 12 pin crank and also uses a 4 bolt fan. I'd be happy to just give you the flywheel and fan for cost of shipping. It's the least I can do so at least you'd have a matching stator/flywheel/fan set!

niz76 - I forget though if the adly is timed differently or the voltage/amperage is different. I recall from the "matter of the stator" thread 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/8538/matter-stator-adly-issues that he tried using a gy6 regulator as its a "gy6 coil on a jog plate" and it blew fuses. Is there a difference between adly regulators and generic mina regulators? Or am i reading too far into it? I want to cross my t's and dot my i's on this cuz i still havent had my first ride yet. Really bummed me out yesterday (thursday) when i had everything perfect (as can be) for my first ride and my stator blew up while trying to start it up... it's really making me sad... Oh, and do you have a throttle cable and right hand control? If you saw my video, i got a big ol bolt tied to the cable and it feels like theres some major resistance in there too, very little springback. Been considering putting off my 2 block test ride cuz of it lol

Don't wanna get your hopes up, but what did you mean by throttle cable for the right hand? The cable I have splits into 2 halfway down the shaft/frame. I haven't installed my new one yet, but if you like, when I do I can give my old one to you.

I need to get one of these hand controls as my control's plastic cam for the throttle cable is broke, then find a throttle cable as well. I deleted the oil pump so i'm going to look into a single cable without the splitter. I heard there are cables out there that work for this, i believe its possible with the right 4 stroke cable. I'll look into this further though.

You must be running lean with the oil ratio and the 70 jet! Get those jets in lol while we're at it, did you just grab increments of 5 aswell?

Still looking into the throttle cable mod, will update if i find something. What does one measure specifically on the cable for length, jacket length or cable itself?

What does one measure specifically on the cable for length, jacket length or cable itself? Jacket length. Don't include the cable sticking out. If you need something custom you can use a wire and run it from the throttle housing to the top of the carb, following the path you'd take with a cable and leaving a little slack so the bars turn both ways without pulling it.

Got my throttle control apart. I don't need to replace it. Thank god cuz if i have to replace anything else just to get this on the road for its first ride, i swear i'm just gonna sell it. To the scrap yard. In pieces. From a sledge hammer. Period. Anyway, so the original cable wouldn't be bad if i had the 90 degree tube with the plug fit. I'd just diy an end for the throttle grip. Something similar to this...
