Like I said in our messages I couldn't find my good sticker collection in the short time I was home. (Less than 16 hours) but by no means does it equal what you did for me with the seat bucket..... Enjoy!

I haven't done much regarding this LC build but I haven't given up yet. I am trying to safe up some money to get the cylinder and pipe. Thus far I have the following parts - Radiators - 28mm Keihin carb - MVT DD06 Iggy - Stage6 R/T crank (85mm) - Aerox Engine cases - Aerox 13inch wheels - Prius water pump - many other small bits and pieces like throttle assembly I have 1 week off now and today temps were lower than usual and I had time to start cleaning my Aerox engine cases. As shown in page 8 they are visually in bad shape and I want to repaint them but for that I need to get rid of the current old paint and years of dirt. I didn't finish it but I think the following pics show how nice the case has become.

Carb cleaner and brake cleaner work good to remove grease and dirt from the cases. I haven't uses it, but I'm guessing aluminum wheel cleaner(acid) would work well too.

Those look much better. What Benji said and also gasoline works well, too.

Brake cleaner and diesel are my normal cleaning agents of choice.
Clothes washing powder can work well as a soak too.
Another really good way, is when you know the wife isn't going to be home in a hurry put the parts in the dish washer! Works really well haha!

I think this is as clean as I can get it with the rotary brushes. Now I need to give it a good wipe down with brake cleaner and then prep it for painting. Unfortunately the weather is not agreeing with my plan and therefore I have to wait till end of August or beginning of September to start painting.

Today is a sad day indeed. Not only because spaz12 is selling his Tier 1 scoot but also because it looks like the Polini 2G Evo3 clutch 107mm is not available anymore (249.045) at least not for a decent price. Why the hell did they discontinue that clutch I cannot understand the world sometimes. "Hey we have something good let's replace it with somethings totally shitty!" that seems to be the philosophy of many manufacturers recently. I should have bought one when they still had it around, AAAAAAAAh! I could punch a hole into the wall right now.

Small update on the clutch situation. I found a Polini 2G Evo3 clutch which is on the way and hopefully won't get lost in between the typhoons. Most likely one of the last 2G Evo3 clutches out there so lucky me.
I also will probably be able to order the Roost kit by beginning of next month. (If the coming typhoon doesn't cause any damage as the last one did.)
There are some other bits and pieces I will need to order and I cannot decide if I should go for the old Malossi OR kit or the Furia Rossa kit. Price difference is around $90, the question is, is it worth it?
I will most likely place another order for $500-600 at racing planet after the Roost kit arrives. Order will contain;
intake (360 Polini) reed block (VL14) radiator hoses clear type 9mm,12mm,15mm,19mm clutch bell (Polini Speed bell) CVT OR kit (not decided yet which one)

nelson has the Furia Rossa and he says that even after a nice long ride that the rear pulley stays nice and cool, so it maybe could be worth the extra few dollars just for the belts you'll save. Less heat means less work having to service it all the time as well. Just my two cents. On the other hand, the 2005 model is still great and with a vented cvt cover like you'll be using, doesn't get too hot.

spaz12 Looking at the TD of the Furia Rossa it does seem to cool better with all those holes drilled in there. In my case, as you already mentioned I have a very good ventilated CVT cover and the only reason I would go for the Furia Rossa is the visual impact of the TD. Of course a 2005 OR would be more then sufficient I think. I am talking with Ryan at the moment regarding his OR kit. You know where I live and it is all about the shipping. Used + shipping has to be cheaper then new + shipping.
