Yes, there are some that have the same bearing on both sides. Is this an R50x perhaps? Be sure and call Osa at 702-689-6035 with the engine bearing number you need. It's a 4 digit number printed on the bearing.

The outter race is marked "SCO5A51CS24" Dimensions: 52mm OD, 25mm ID, 13mm width. Update: Spoke to Kenny again with the bearing info, correct bearing is on the way. Thank again. Donne

I know that the crank that was sent to me was a "sample" from a new source/vendor. My understanding was that the Pierspeed/TGB crank was no longer available. If I could get the updated version of the Pierspeed/TGB crank, that would be the way I want go.

Now back to some more fun. Problem... Shroud hitting cooling fins on head. Solution... Barbaric, maybe. Did it get the job done, Hell Yeah. Note: carbide tip blade preferred. All fixed... Clearance problem solved.

Here is more details of my crank/lubrication concerns. Stock crank/visible bearing. New crank/bearing blocked off Crankshaft comparisons If I use the new crankshaft, I just can't wrap my head around how the oil will reach the bearings if I go to premix. I would think if the crank is spinning, it would just sling anything to the outside and not much if an oil will reach the bearings in the center. Especially if the mixture has to work itself behind the tiny gaps highlighted(old crank shown for reference) I dont want to install the bearings on the new crank incase I decide to send it back.
I thought about doing a premix/injection combination solution if I went with the new crankshaft. I wish I had the oil tank, but the previous owner removed it threw it out, and the rest of the TGB owners here know what its like to get OE parts. Iv checked, 3 month wait(container ship) unless I expedite and the charges are insane.

You will not have a lube problem as most of the top gun roadrace stuff use very smooth full circle cranks and the cases have no oil feed holes in them for the main side bearings,,Ya gotta remember there is a 'fog' of fuel/oil/air mixture swirling around in the bottom end at all times!

I hear you. I am a noob when it comes to the Morin engine design. It is different than the Honda/Kymco' 2 strokes I am use to wrenching. I just want to make sure. I'd rather be safe than sorry, that and I prefer to do it once and right. The scooter only has 85 miles on it, I am the 3rd owner, the previous 2 obviously had no clue seeing I am in the engine. Thanks for the info.

The Final Stretch. Well I got my bearings and seals, throttle cable and jet kit yesterday morning. The throttle cable was supposed to be an exact fit, but the inner cable was an inch too short. I broke out the dremel and surgically cut off an inch of outer cable without nicking the inner cable. I ran the new cable and only had to remove one panel. While doing the cable I chucked the bearings and crankshaft in the freezer. I already had the case halves prep'd and installed the seals. I normally do this last, but on the variator side of the crank, the case has two seals. I wanted to make sure I got the inner seal installed correctly and properly lubed. Once that was done I heated up the case halves with the heat gun and installed the crank bearings. I reheated the cases/bearings and installed the crank. I installed the piston/cylinder and had an issue with the temp sensor hitting the fins on the head so I had to do some trimming with the dremel. Installed the head and torqued. I checked squish which was just over a 1mm or .046". Compression was 150 psi. I am glad I made a thicker base gasket. Leak tested for 1/2 hour and it held 6 psi. Reinstalled engine, removed DOT rear tail lights, swapped out jet in carb(100 main),and fitted the exhaust. The pipe didn't line up with the rear mounting(was close) I used the acetylene torch and heated the pipe right near where it connects to the cylinder and "massaged" it till the pipe lined up with the rear mounting hole. The only things left are to swap out the rear turn signal bulbs, the ones I installed are not that bright. I ordered higher wattage(I want to bee seen) seeing the local part stores did not stock them. I also did not install the bottom plastics seeing I have to get the scooter out of my basement. I don't have bulkhead doors to outside and have to go up stairs. When I get to the top the scoots usually bottom out. I actually have a remote controlled winch installed at the top of the stairs to make things a lot easier. I did give it a shot of fuel to fire it off, its ready to run.
