Polls were so crowded at my precinct I had to get out of line to go to work. I only allowed an hour extra time for voting and they said the line would easily take over 2 hours. I get off work at 6:00 p.m. but, the polls close at 6:00!!!
It is my fault for not being there when the polls opened but man, I am pissed.

Well, depending on who you favor, this could be good news or bad news.
Where I am, the VAST VAST majority of voters are Hillary supporters....noone is there. Unlike in 2008 and even 2012.
Where you are I would assume that the majority are Trump supporters?

I personally don't care. Presidential elections mostly just annoy me. While we talk about the good of the nation, tons of money, that could have gone to some useful purpose, is spent to call each other names. If I ever believe there is a candidate that's mostly honest and not needing to repay a long list of special interests that got them there, I'll vote for president (so don't hold your breath).

Dictatorships work best....when there are no voters This reminds me of the folks that told me Trump will be just like Hitler (literally had someone tell me he will set up concentration camps) or the people that claim that he will nuke the world if he's in office. I don't sway one way or the other on this one, so I don't see a point in voting... but I'm a reasonable enough individual to understand that those are some GIANT leaps for either candidate. I'm a fan of rational thinking, not leaps. Is it better for me to not vote because I like neither, or for someone to vote because they believe the outrageous claims from political rhetoric or what their buddy told them about one or the other? How about the people that said they'd vote Hillary just to see the first woman president? IMO, it could be worse than not voting and at least I'm not making any claim that I know what either will do in office... aside from very little of what they promised.

Yeah...when people start comparing modern US political candidates to Hitler I quietly move on....quickly
So....you didn't vote in the primaries either?

Agreed. One reason we have so many problems in the country is that people are disconnected...don't care or are disillusioned. The nation wasn't built on giver-uppers If you're not gonna vote...then at least be active as hell trying to change things in ways that you can. All that is required for evil men to prevail...is for good men to do nothing Edmund Burke

I just voted. Glad to have the right to vote. Disgusted with the choice in candidates, but still glad to have a voice.
Massive turnout in my district, I have never seen more.

For the first time in my 53 years, I used the one party check off, because the other two parties made it easy to make the choice.
