That is the end of an era. in the box is a honda twin kit, going to the states. Goin back to single. Albeit probably a fast single. The old Dio's 82cc build... for now. But that may change

Things are progressing nicely in the garage.. I have more motors being built than I know what to do with.

What tree are you using for the forks? I swapped out the stem and used a met tree, but it's not clearing the front plastic properly.

Spree steerer welded to metro/jazz forks. You have to cut out little notches for the fork to get full turning.

I pretty much did the exact same thing. My only issue is the tree is hitting the plastic when I turn. I noticed some people cut out squares but that takes away the look of the body.
I’ve been thinking of using s heatgun and molding it inwards about an inch to clear the tree when turning. Is that something you did?
Great build by the way, very informative.

pitobread what's your opinion on the China pipes? I want to replace the metal lump on my scoot. Are they worth it? Real stainless?

your opinion on the China pipes...Are they worth it... Never, theres no development behind those china pipes. They just try to resemble real expansion pipes. The dimensions are totally off and they might even do the opposite of a good pipe performance wise. Badly lag on performance and drain your fuel tank quicker than without any expansion effect whatsoever.

I think I'm going to use a vertical Dio exhaust on my AF24 Honda scooter, since it's very similar with the Dio engine. Are there any good money-to-quality options? Tecnigas? Seems decent price-wise. I found some Gianelli exhausts locally.
