I didnt see the pipe or cyl kit in their listing, well known company though... For the cylinder kit you got to type in jog 90 in search bar, that's crazy the pipe isn't showing up

I'm looking @ budget build not insane cash, that is a decent crank so for the MhR big bore you need a 85 mm Conrod and 45 mm stroke correct I gotta try to straighten a detail out here, the Malossi 86 and 77 cylinders are tha same bore, but not the same cylinder and cant be interchanged,if you look at the 2 portmaps posted by members below, you'll see the barrel is taller above the ports as well as below the base of the transfers also.Sorry for thread jacking Jwhood, just felt like this oughta be cleared up... 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/176/port-maps-post-em?page=149ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/176/port-maps-post-em?page=3

I didn't realize this! Thanks for clearing that up! I was thinking they were one and the same but were just being adjusted with the base spacer...

So will this crank work on +90cc cylinders? I guess a spacer will be needed to accommodate the 85mm con rod. Yeah that's the guy I've been in touch with,j is he legit? David bullock the guy who runs gy6performance.com is who I get all my taida stuff from. He has stuff specially made for him. He could probably get you anything taida you want. I have his phone number if you can't get ahold of him through email or Facebook

If you are going iron cylinder and have a choice,I'd go with the single exhaust port because those silly tiny aux ex ports dont flow much, cant be opened and keeps you from widening the main port..

So which one would you recommend, should I get a l.c or a.c from Carlos,I think the taida,Carlos, and hoca are pretty much all the same cylinder,it seems like Carlos cylinders are decent, been trying to scouer the internet for port map layouts for the taida kit but no luck,I looked at the port map layout on the forums and Carlos cylinders look the best, hocas l.c cylinder has small ports,I'm wondering how far they could be opened up without blasting through?

Carlos may be able to fix you up with a V8 pipe, cyl kit and 45mm crank. If you email him lots of times he can source parts and give better prices than on his ebay store..
PS,the AC kits are simpler than LC and Brent has tons of miles on them...Your choice though!!

It's Chinese new year I guess he shut his eBay store down so he wanted be swamped with back orders when he came back Feb 2nd,I think I'm going with him, reading Brent's stuff on his kits and other ppl online he seems to have good quality parts, gonna go with the 54mm cylinder and 45 mm crank

Make sure to get the "tall" 54mm cylinder for the 45mm stroke! EDIT: Err wait, I think I might remember 90GTVert saying something about using the standard cylinder with the 45mm crank? A few of us have ended up with real wide squish bands and had to shave down heads etc. and I think Brent mentioned this was less of an issue with a stroker crank on a standard cylinder?? Hopefully he'll chime in!

My last stroker I used a "tall" cylinder with a 45 stroke crank and had to mill the base of the cyl to get everything in check.
