It sucks that its such a low revving kit 😕 Is it just my scooter or is it more the kit? Might be a dumb question. The MOtorforce kit was said to make no more than 9000 rpms but clearly those durations are far off from what I'm getting. The clones?... Makes me wanna buy a jog lol I like the looks too.

I'd recheck those durations, easy to make errors when doing it..The transfers are fine, just a bit high,,Exhaust is low though, but it is very easy to rework an exhaust port!! I think you should try it as is for now, just to get an idea of how it runs...

this was the bbk i ordered and discussed with matt about. If you want to try modding a cylinder, this is the one to buy. Dont forget to examine the piston, don't rely on the exhaust arrow. from my pfs universal parts kit thread. They marked these down as factory seconds, but its a cheap source for a 70cc cylinder to modify. You may be able to still use your motoforce piston as long as you have the right piston to bore clearance.

I was thinking the exhaust port would be the first thing I'm going to modify, but of course I wanna see what kind of changes it brings so I think this just turned into a project. Plan to get it running decent atleast within a month, then see where it takes me. I've always wanted to new pipe. I think that might help a liiiitle bit but it sounds like there's not a whole lot I can do when it comes to a getting a higher top speed.

To sit and ride side by side. I'm thinking about the extra bbk dearly... I think I'll wait just a biiiit more before I make the order tho. I just wanna learn a bit more on the kit I have, I think I see a bit of room for some improvement but my efforts and time will tell. PS. I'm not used to "crafting" something without seeing quick results lol becoming a scootergeek wannabe will be testing my patience. I applaud you guys for that.

Reading more on 90GTVert's project 90 will give you more insight into the port durations, and exhaust shaping. I think that for now, double check your degree wheel, make sure you read the same number on the upstroke as you do on the downstroke. I had to triple check mine, found my original readings were off slightly. For now, just consider port durations, your squish can be 1.0-1.5, and get a compression check done, hopefully that comes out to 140-170. That should have you set up well to run with

With a Jog you'll find the exact same engine as in your scoot and the exact same geeky scoot fun!

It's nice to be able to see and give actual numbers. Im gonna have to double triple check my readings again. I hope I wasn't reading them wrong the first time :/ I think I'll back track a little and check my original durations with just the 1 head gasket. Niz, I know your a fan of the jogs aswell. I really wanna copy the jog you sold with the Athena bbk and expansion chamber (from your youtube vid, jogs for sale). I won't be spending that much coin on a kit just yet tho Oooooo break of Sunshine today! Here's my chance.

They worked great with the now obsolete Leo Vince, but it looks like the Yasuni R should be similar in performance.

Speaking of, PartsForScooters just released their Athena selection. Sucks we still need to find a 12 pin piston somewhere else though... Plus i've been referencing this post ( www.pedparts.co.uk/blog/tecnigas-exhaust ) on exhaust performance lately...

If ever, I had planned to get it from scootertuning if I couldn't find a used one. But what do you mean by an EXTRA 70 dollars? I haven't seen a deal or anything like that on scootertuning. And if your talking USD then I thought the yasunis were more than that even in CAD.

The Technigas next r is 127 dollars scootertuning.ca/en/exhaust-systems/3000002-exhaust-tecnigas-next-r.htmlAnd the Yasuni R is 207 US dollars, so I guess 80 dollars more. My bad
