Here she is a 2008 Yamaha Zuma with 1500 mikes on it. It's been sitting for a while but the fuel tank and carb were dry. Besides a quick once over, trimming the throttle and a new battery it didn't need much to get it smoking back to life. I'll say this and have haters but the China scoots have a better design for the seat bucket to access the engine. The Zuma requires loosening some body panels to get to the hardware. I think I'll be cutting the bottom out and making a inlay for the bottom. I just took it around the neighborhood quickly and I think that's all they wanted of it. Either the cases are full of oil from sitting or the injection pump is free flowing into the motor because it's covered in oil and left quite the cloud behind me. The plan: Not sure yet. I would like to do another LC hyper race build but I'm not certain yet. I'll have to see what cylinders catch my eye. I do want to source some Aerox wheels and a few other cosmetic items like different bars and a digital dash. More to come.

You got to be kidding me. Someone put 1500 miles on that and didn't do the throttle mod? That stock pipe should have a air tube coming from the air box, if so it has a cat in it and is restrictive compared to the older pipes. Looks to be a nice bike. Congrats

If you can find another bucket you can make a nice fake floor with it that looks factory.

Nice find! Looks pretty nice!
Ya I hate the Zuma design where you've got to remove the rear rack and practically half of the panels just to get the seat bucket out. Zoom Zoom Zooomaaa!

Corrosion made a thread on doing the false/removable bottom. I'll find it for ya if ya can't finger out how to do it

Congrats Don't worry it won't be staying stock for long. I just wanted to see that everything was working.

I had to make my first order for this thing so I can get rid of the fuggly turn signals and stick them in the taillight and get some flush mounts for the front.

That is the same bike I started out with! Their is a "JDM", rear fender that cleans up the whole back end, it is a plug and play fix.

I came across the "jdm" tail but it still has the cutouts for the turn signals. I just pulled the lower fender piece and all the boxy crap off of it and just mounted my tag through existing holes. Looks better then it did. I'll have the amber lenses soon enough for the signals. I'll get a picture later.
