It’s a 43mm stroke crank so if you change to another cylinder that uses a 43mm stroke it will work.

It just would suck to have to pull a crank when you decide to change things up down the road. But with that said I’ve always wanted to know what the Athena 80 was all about. I’d love to have it in my Prebug.

I’m not really worried about having to pull it apart once it’s together. If the crank fails that’s one thing, but I don’t plan on pulling it apart just to change things up. I think there are other 43mm stroke AC bores out there though.
I’m set on the 80 I just need to see if I can find a radiator to fit where I want it. I’ll try to get a measurement tonight of what I need.

I got a little distracted fiddling with my pipe. I’ll have to pull my belly pan later tonight and get some dimensions.

Thanks man! Each one turns out better then the last. They do get quicker to make. I’m trying to get away from the braze rod from my previous pipes. So I think this turned out ok.

When i got to looking there was a lot of 47.6 bore kit for 43 to 45 cranks. Might need an oven sea's address to get them but if so my son would be happy to forward them. Anything for a friend lol

I’ve still got the single radiator I used on my Bidalot 86 build. I can get some pics and measurements of it if your interested.

No need, the mx rads are easy I’ve got one sitting here. Ever since I saw this pic I thought it would be a bad ass spot to mount a radiator. I want to see if I can get one there on the Zuma within the belly pan. I found a few on eBay that may work but sellers aren’t to eager to get me any measurements.

We that’s a no-go on mounting it in the belly. There is zero room in there. So I’m back to either under the seat with a fan and/or duct setup or the usual spot up front. I don’t really want to put it up front because I have my feet there when I ride. Hmmm...

Maybe right below the front of the seat, with a puller fan behind it? It would take some fancy trimming to make it look good, but you might be able to save the under seat storage.

Been there, know the feeling. I wanted my radiator under the foot rest, no go unless I did some major modifications to frame and plastics. The I thought it would be cool to have it behind the front wheel(like dirt bikes) and no such luck. I guess if I was going with the "naked look" I could made something work. I really wanted the "sleeper" all stock look. So much for either.

There is room in front and above the engine, behind the lower seat trim panel. I’ll have to relocate some wiring but it could work. A naked scoot would be much easier.

I got around to ordering the crank and cylinder and ended up going with the AC. I found it for a better price then the LC and for ease of swapping between the 2 motors. I’m working on cleaning up the cases for better flow and waiting for JB weld to dry. I found that maxiscoot lists it as 17-19hp on their site w/ a C16, not sure it that’s 100% accurate but if it is that is pretty impressive. I should have it here come mid week.
