I have my copy of the C21 and a C30 I can throw on there to see what they do. Their silencers are just really loud compared to this one.

C30 would be interesting just to see if the displacement would benefit from a pipe like that, or if the port timings are just too mild.

The C30 should actually do pretty well on here. It was corrected and built for a 77 as is this, this just has slightly lower exhaust port duration. I’ll give it a go when I get a chance.

I did try out the ‘ol C30 ish copy. It ran ok, bottom end was better then top. It’s meant for 11,600-11,800 if I recall so I’m a bit low on where it wants to be. With work it could be made better. The C21 needed a hanger welded on so I’ll try that another time. I just put the C16 back on for now and bumped up my jetting a tad to 92/42 up from 88/40. And I need to slot this stator to adjust my timing a tad. Also the For race 4 needs a different hanger so I couldn’t get that mounted up. My pipes were designed off the other motor with the mounting tabs trimmed back which I didn’t do to this one yet. I think the C16 will be the ticket.

I’ve been meaning to pull the stator so I could slot it and adjust my timing. Yesterday I heard a rattle from the iggy side so I pulled it apart today. Notice anything out of place? I’ve had that happen on my clones in the past. I swapped in my old stator for good measure.

Yeah it was just floating in it’s hole. No damage was done.

Everytime is see that scoot of yours i think, "man those bronze wheels look so nice".
Lucky with that stator could have ended a bit ugly.

Thank you! I just hate how quick they pickup dirt. I literally wipe them down every 2nd or 3rd ride. I think it’s mostly my sintered brake pads.

I know what you mean. I haven't cleaned mine for months now and they went from black to grey-ish pouder color. I definitely need to wipe them down asap.

I felt the need to check my speedo calibration.

My rear wheel has had some runout causing some vibration at speed and making my headlights bounce around. It finally bothered me enough to pick up another rear wheel. Now the real question is do I get it powder coated the same as before or should I spend the winter sanding and polishing them?
