I dropped the wheel and tire off to get coated on Friday and it should be ready on Monday or Tuesday. $60 to coat and mount the tire, not bad.

I picked up the wheel today and I’ll get it bolted up tonight. Looks good to me. Now I’ll have to find something else to get picky over.  |

Yes only $60.
I’ve had a few fun scoots, I enjoy watching others with their hyper race motors but for me it’s not needed. 65 is just fine for me, I can exceed all posted speed limits on the roads here and I can break away from traffic with a nice lead. I’d rather have a nice reliable scoot that I can rack a bunch of miles on and not worry about finding someone to pick me up. Next month I may change my story but this is where I’m at now.

Don’t get me wrong the hyper race stuff was fun, it’s just stressful knowing how much your sitting on. I’ve got enough stress, I’m married...
Don’t forget I’ve still got a ‘lil 77cc sitting around. Do I need a third motor...

I agree!That slick mold release on tires can cause crashes,a burn out makes it waaay safer...Thats what I tell the police dudes when smoking tires..  |

I tend to take it easy for 50-100 miles and try not to get too much lean angle in the turns. Making some tire smoke speeds the process.

Nothing special going on here. I just wanted to post my quick trip to the post office. My wife gifted me a GoPro Hero 7 and I’m trying to figure out the settings. There is much more to offer then my old Hero 3. Transfer rate is real quick compared to the old camera.

I feel my scoot is in a bit of disrepair, transmission is leaking oil, rear shock is bottoming out on every bump and I hope that’s not rod noise I hear for the past few rides. New rear shock to be ordered. Athena motor going back in, I had tried out my cheapie Polini with the “golf ball” porting, not too bad actually but I like the Athena better. Pictures to follow...
