This thing is going to sound angry! 👍 Will be interesting to see the difference in the port maps.

Port map was added to the list, is anyone smart enough to over lay this to the MHR 77 on page 2. Smart phones are smart just not that smart...

Thanks for the effort. I was just curious how similar they were.

They actually look kinda similar I think. At least similar measurements.

Hard to tell from the pic. But was it near the water nipple side. Looked like a casting flaw how thin the sealing surface got on the one side.

For reference it’s just under the exhaust port but unfortunately it looks like it’s just barely where the cases meet. I’ll double check but looks like she’s coming back apart and that was my last set of seals so I’ll have to see if I can find some local. Tomorrow’s Friday, beer fridge is full, I’ll git er dun one way or another.

Isn't that the "pocket" for the oil pump to clear? I never understand why they do that on the high end kits, like anybody is going to use a pump with one of those!

It’s already been tore down, cleaned up and put back together, at least the bottom. I think the sealant never cured because some was still wet after taking it apart. It’ll spend the night inside, just don’t tell my wife. I guess I shouldn’t rush running it soI’ll give it time to cure properly.

It’s in! Cases are sealed up, it’s needs to be tuned but that’s not happening as it’s currently snowing. But it’s in, it runs and I’m cool again because it’s LC. Enjoy a time lapse of the process and me almost dropping my scoot. Don’t worry she’s safe.

Sure, but my pipe will still rust and I’m not ok with that.

Do they make a water pump that's all metal?
