This was on page 5 so I guess that’s not too bad. This is probably the last evolution of the ‘ol girl. Not that she’s going anywhere but don’t think there’s anywhere to go beyond this. I’ve been happy with where it is but everyone that messes with these always wants a little more. Sure I could jump on the big bikes if I want more but it’s not the same. These scoots have a place and can’t be replaced..even with displacement. It’s about the acceleration not necessarily the top speed, and many other reasons. So where is it going.. 94cc RC one. As we speak it’s sitting on my coffee table, just some assembly required. The scoot itself has a few body panels in transit. It’s been traveling in the back of my truck a lot in the recent past and it’s taken it’s toll. Along with some trips through salt water but not to worry it’ll be the queen it used to be. It’ll make an appearance at the spring car show and the small bore rally to mess with some Groms. More to come soon..

It’s about the acceleration not necessarily the top speed, and many other reasons. Wouldn't have anything to do with some fat guy pulling on you at red lights, would it? Can't wait to get smoked by the Zuma in it's final form!

I do have to say it’s been nice building this in my kitchen and on the couch.. I’m not going to document the build here as it’s been done many times but rather the importance of looking all parts over before assembly. I’ve mentioned in the past of how I have issues with malossi because of quality control and here are a few examples, all of which are in one package and could of easily caused damage. Anything that’s cast pick at it like your dentist does to you. Geez didn’t even get to the gearset or OR setup yet. I do have to say the ring was spot on, cylinder came with a nice chamfer and ignition was easy to setup. Burr left in head cover threads Material left in piston circlip groove Entire piston needed to be chamfered Aluminum burrs left on reed block hardware Port matching needed Deburr transfer And for the record the “complete engine” isn’t complete there are a few little things needed. Ignition wire Starter pawl 12x18x12 bearing Thrust washers for gears (not really needed) Mounting tube and circlips Gear cover hardware Axle nut and washer Small spline wheel or Aerox hub Tuning parts..

The finish is disappointing for what it is. I wonder how many people bolt these together and never slap a base gasket against the case first

I have seen a few of these put together now. Like you have found, there is still stuff you need to buy to assemble it. For such a high level kit, the finish is disappointing.

I’m sure there are people that just slap these together and call them good. Especially when you buy assembly services from a shop. You can’t see it so how would you know.

Ohhh boy. I can't wait to see what you get out of this. I've been eyeing this kit for my malaguti but the cost 😭. I'm excited for you and to see how this goes

Now following just for the joy of it. I watched Florida Jack put the same engine in his scooter via YouTube and he was running 34hp out of it. Me I’m not a fit n finish kinda guy. I don’t have any experience in it. I’m absolutely positive that my Chinese case needs machine work to match the street race cylinder but I don’t want to take the case apart to do the work. I’m not there yet. Maybe on the next evolution.
Have fun and enjoy I’m grabbing a seat in the grandstands here to see how it goes.

I'm pretty sure Polini made that.
