The Polini pipe came today and besides being rusty under the clear it looks well assembled. The shop I got it from offered a generous refund for the appearance. Nothing a wire wheel and paint can't fix. Carburetor tomorrow, then I'll try to get some assembly done this weekend. I like the way the rust looks under the clear. Kind of like rust blueing on old guns I kinda dig it like that I'd leave it be

I see that somewhere between pages 2 and 3 you added an aftermarket shock and failed to inform us You don't miss anything. It's just a forsa I had laying around from my other scoots. It's adjustable so it's better then the OEM.

I got a chance this weekend to get the cylinder cleaned up and installed. Bummer is I didn't take many pictures. Cleaned up and opened the exhaust port to a healthy 68% chord width, just about 32mm. Checked timings over and got it setup at 124/186 should be good for what I want. Transfers are pretty flush at BDC. After I got the idle screw in far enough it started and idled without much fuss. Hopefully today I'll get some body panels on it so I can take it for a quick spin and see where I'm at. I know idle jet is going to be rich. This is my first dellorto so it'll take a few attempts. It came with a 60 idle so I just left that but I'm thinking I need to be around a 45ish. Temps will tell me. I'll get a video uploaded as soon as I can. Quick 1am check.

PIG What size tires are you running? I've got a set of aerox wheels in transit that need rubber. I think yours are the same sizes. And where did you get your fancy anodized hardware?

Front is 120/70-13 and the rear is 140/60-13. The hardware I just searched anodized fender washers on eBay, lots of options

OEM Aerox wheels are 13" and they are a direct drop-in fit?? Cool!
