hey guys i installed a tecknigas next r pipe on my s9 air cooled and put the rollers in that came with the kit. my problem now is that when i get to about 30mph i hit a flat spot and the engine just revs and it doesn't seem to be moving any faster. uphill although I'm getting like 40mph. on flats is where the problem is. some people said to up jet others said to get stiffer contra spring. I'm going to upgrade to 2000rpm clutch springs regardless of the problem to help my acceleration more. What do you guys think i should do to fix this problem?

hey guys i did some searching and came across autotech355 has 3 torque springs and 3 clutch springs as a package all together on ebay and i would really like to buy this but i noticed in the picture that the packages are written in Chinese so does that mean they are knock off's and if so are they cheap ones that will be bad for my cvt. I'm not trying to knock on autotech355s products whatsoever I'm just looking to see if i should go with a name brand or not and if the ones from autotech355 will hold up for a long time? thanks

The ones from Autotech are fine. I've used them on multiple scoots and they hold up OK. Just be careful that you get the right stuff. I didn't know Autotech sold those kits for your scooter. Not saying he doesn't but just make sure before you order.
I'm not sure what to make of a scooter that goes faster uphill than on a flat. That's not something I've ever experienced. I don't think I'd try a stiffer contra for that. I'd actually think the opposite and maybe try heavier rollers or a softer contra. That's a wild guess though. Dunno if that would accomplish anything.

:stumped: Now that is weird.. I thought that stuff only happened to me.. What weight are in it now? (idk what comes with pipe) What weights were in it?... If you order those springs, like 90 said, check them over for fitment. (make sure they not the cpi, zuma, mina, etc. springs) They wont fit. The gy6,kymco are correct size. The mina springs are narrower than the kymco/gy6. +1 on checking the rollers... But of course i am no master at this, we learn together ... How many miles on her? It's a good idea to keep the t.d greased, they do operate crappy when dried out..make sure the t.d is working correctly,no obstructions in the path.

also i found out i have 6.5 grams in my variater. I'm gonna do a 1500 contra spring and 2000 rpm clutch spring and see if it solves my problem if not then ill look into the carb tunning. just to double check the super 9 50 air cooled engine is the same as a GY6 50cc,139QMB,QT50 engine right?

thebatman said the GY6/Kymco springs will work. The motor itself isn't the same as a GY6 50cc though, that's a four-stroke.

hey guys i found a polini roller kit with 6.6gram, 7.6gram, 8.5gram, 9.1gram roller weights. is polini a good brand and do you think these will be the right sizes if im running 6.5 now and its stopping at 30 with the 1000 contra and 2000 clutch spring. or should i get even heavier ones? Also how can i tune my carburetor i know there are screws but idk what they are called or where they are and what they do a diagram and explanation would be great as i think the carb could be a issue of it topping out at 30mph

Polini is a good brand.
I have Autotech355's springs. They hold up decently - good for tuning mostly. They won't last forever, though.
