Very nice! Your project is off to a good start. I don't see too many people replacing the wires, but it looks good and it gave me a little boost when I had some starting issues on a bigger motor in one of my scoots.
Looks like you've got a little larger 4T project going on in the background too. ;D

The head that came in the kit was ported beautifully. I feel thats where alot of the gain in power came from. You can hold the front brake and she'll roast the tire

Nice! Thanks for the vid.
I just recently installed a 12V outlet on one of my scoots. Great thing to have.

With all the mods you did to the scooter including the 12v outlet, you should add a radar detector...LOL

What, no nitrous? JK Nobake. Looks like a good build to me. I'm liking the Blue/Silver paint.

Can I ask a quick question about the power outlet? I was thinking of something similar that uses the quick connect plug from my battery charger. I found 1 at amazon for like 5 bucks. Anyway, do ya think that would work for an emergency Impact wrench. Seems like a good idea instead of paying for a compressor and all that just to remove the variator/clutch nuts. I would think the battery has enough juice to pull a nut off so long as it is charged after

Not trying to hijack the thread of a GREAT build. Nice to see a father and son enjoying building something together!!!!! I am just looking for a cheap, easy way to replace the rollers when I get around to it. Seems an electric Impact is the way to go. If I can find one that plugs into a wall socket even better like the second link Marsh posted. Time for a new thread OK, Back on topic!!! Would you guys say that scrappys kit is a good deal? (thinking about one myself) Any problems or unexpected issues during the install??? Oh, thanks again for the pics and vids. I am Jealous Once that engine and head are broken in, That's gonna be a very Sweet scoot!!!!! Less than 500 miles on the dash That's gonna be a very fun scoot!!!!!

ur kool bong, go off topic as u want. and thank god the other guy helped u out with that answer bc i had no idea about how much power it would take to charge an impact wrench. but as for if the kit was worth it. i think so it sounds sweet and it gets up and rides in the mid 40mph range on flat road pretty easy and still gets pretty good gas millage "about 60mpg" but thats ridding it hammered down more than u need to lol but i havent even messed with rollers yet till a couple days from ow when they come in, so my oppinion may not count for alot and my dad did all the work really ill ask him to post a reply to if there were any problims with the kit ijust handed him tools and learned wut i could lol

I had to flatten it and form it in the other direction. Not too bad but had to think for a minute and that hurt! :stars: The carb was good right out of the box only had to richen the bottom about 3/4 of a turn. Everything else was bolt on no problems.
