Cool!!! I agree with you on all of that.
And they should have picked the YF-23 over the F-22. Much better plane.
And I think the F-15 Streak Eagle still holds much of the records that was set many decades ago, right??

Senna1Rossi Yeah. I think the Soviet Union (Russia) put booster packs on one of the jets to try and beat it. Those F-100 P&W jet engine is mean on the Eagle. The F-16 has the same engine variant in it as well. I remember F-16s at one time having an issue with compressor stalls but that was fixed. The main problem with the F-16 was chaffing of wire harnesses. It pulled so many G's (9) that the wires would get cut from any sharp edge metal. That was a ooops big time when the plane was fly by wire. youtu.be/ZESIsgZBl3QMy favorite video right here. Now I will say the F-22 is bad to the bone with the stealth and being able to fly 650+ mph with out after burner (So no sonic boom). 5 F-15s went head to head against 1 Raptor (F-22) and lost because of new radars and stealth. The F-22 spotted them first and engaged them before they ever located him. My thing is ...laser technology has advanced so far ahead I am scared to think what aircraft now can have..because Skunkworks will never tell until it is time to laser them down. Ships are already getting them installed and they work great. That and the rail guns lol Heedehceenuh Chuck D Rise on.....

Fun today. Carried it on a major highway and kept pace with the flow of traffic up to 54 mph (GPS) and had throttle but I think the power is coming around. She was running at 8,000 -8,500 rpm and smooth as could be. I will recheck everything tomorrow and probably change the oil (Being safe). People like it a lot and my son drove her today with a big grin...he wants a sports bike.
I will get the belt spark plug change done after 500-600 miles. Then check on the new performance coil CDI and cold air. If she runs what is needed from there I will be good to go. I did run 45 mph at the start of a small incline and throttled up she ran 50 mph at the top of the incline. Can not get this grin off my face from the ride lol

Changed the plug to the NGK and she runs a little stronger. Rode her Weds. on a 19 mile round trip and she made me sore a little for a day or two. But that is me not the bike. So my plans now are to get her broke in and find the gear ratio i want 15-16-17/36 to get the top speed needed. I want to keep the motor stock until time for a rebuild but will do the variator/belt/plug(Iridium)/exhaust/gear and cold air intake. Just get those gears first the tweak the variator to that sweet spot I need.
My old butt needs to get out and ride to get her broke in good.

Latest update. She is running fine. Found the tires needed to help the top speed 110/90/12 Michelin City Grips. Front tire but will use front and rear. The gears i have yet to decide on but getting to the selection will be fun. I want to have the gears/tires set up to get the motor in the sweet spot power range. then adjust variator weight rollers/sliders so i can ride around 6500-7500 rpm 55-60 mph (GPS).
Currently she runs: 2500-3000 rpm for take off 4000-5000 rpm for 25-35 mph (GPS) 8000-9000 rpm for 50-60 mph (GPS) My 60 mph run was done tucked and grinning lol.
Chinese speedo showed 65-70 mph and i know that was not right. lol Wife followed me and she said she was running 56 mph and my gps showed 53 mph. (2013 Dodge Dart and it just could keep up with me lol j/k)
Chime in and have fun... Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on.....

I'm too damn old, lame and lazy to mod and tune much any more so I got a SYM HD 200 (171cc, 4v, w/c, 72mph). It runs with most any 250 China scoot. You can pick em up cheap but parts here are expensive. The good news is they're built like trucks and eat hills for snacks. It is my two lane, everyday go to scooter. If I want to haul more or hop on the interstate I take my Burgman 400. But I'm really wanting to replace them both with a Piaggio BV 350 ABS so I only have to insure one bike. They have good storage and excellent acceleration. Sorry for jacking your thread... the Monster Energy I've been drinking all afternoon while taking water distribution classes all day on too little sleep must be taking over.

I am legit now and rolling legal. Tags registration 1yr permit and insurance. Now I have to get a belt. Chinese belt could not hang with my heavy fist lol Muffler on the way also. That crack has me changing it before anything breaks. Even in the rain today she ran like a VIP Champ lol Not a Future Champ. I am so enjoying this. I was still at the DMV when the drizzle started and told myself to ride it like you stole it.

Get a Bando or Gates belt and never use another Chinese belt. Those 2 are easy enough to find, not too expensive, and should hold up well. Be careful if you see one of those brands on eBay for $10 shipped or some other price that seems too good to be true, because it probably is. There seem to be some clones around.

Yeah i ordered the Gates Powerlink. I just thought it funny the belt did not last 300k but I am heavy handed lol. These South Carolina roads are in bad shape so I knew the muffler would crack sooner than later. Both will be fitted soon. Belt should be here Friday. Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on.....

I busted multiple Chinese belts in 10 miles or less. When I first did it, I thought the 2Ts were too much for the cheap stuff. Then I did it on a 35MPH 4T and said, "OK, something's seriously wrong here". lol

New Gates belt on and nut on exhaust. She is smooth as can be. New exhaust will be here Tuesday as well as GPS speedometer and mounting pod for it. Best loose change I have spent so far. 15/38 gears are next and let her ride. Tires will go from 120/70-12 to 110/90-12 to also give me the top speed needed. The power should fall in the range I need. If not variator weights rollers/ sliders can do the rest.

I went on an 18 mile run today and she ran perfect. New Gates belt-NGK plug-oil/gear oil change-exhaust-GPS speedometer and a tank of gas. I held my own running 50-57 mph (GPS). On a flat stretch I held 50 mph at 8000 rpm so the gear change will put me to my sweet spot and may stay with factory style tire but Michelin brand. I noticed the clutch bell had a little wobble (Bad machine work) and may replace it with a better brand. Still only have 300 kl on the Chinese odometer. Each time I go out I travel a little farther just to test myself and the scooter. My R.A. (Rheumatoid Arthritis) gets the best of me at times. Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on.....
