youtu.be/tEtDyKi9cpoLink to video of me doing a test run. I was riding and my nephew was behind me but I did not know who it was. Hit the turn before the bridge running 58.3 mph GPS (caution 45 mph turn) and the death wobble started lol I know better than that. Maybe getting ready to change gears again and do a variator weight/roller (not sliders) change. She rides good and adjusting to her real good. Trying to set my torque up in the right spot. Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on..... get some gloves, even if you have a low speed crash, it's instinct to put your hands down, and you will be in a world of hurt. Also don't stop next to a guard rail, if some distracted driver runs into you, it will crush you between the guardrail and the car, if you are past the guardrail you will probably just end up in the dirt

Thanks. I got me some gloves. Problem is at times they are hard to get on my hands. Notice my knuckles in the video you can see how messed up they are. I found a set of goat skin gloves that let me feel the grips good and go on ... some what easy. From my knuckles to the fingers on my right hand turn right and bone under bone instead of end to end. This is part of the reason for a scooter for me. R.A. (Rheumatoid Arthritis) has eat me up from head to toe. Bones dislocate in my feet , shoulder goes out every now and then, neck locks every now and then, etc.etc. Most of my issues show up the next morning when I wake up lol. Ever seen an old man set in a corner crying not wanting to move ?!?! lol My wife and son help me with so much but I will not let it hold me down.
I hope to have a long ride video up soon. New exhaust-cold air intake system (No cone filter here-weather changes to fast) new belt (bought what came off and it was the wrong size from factory). I still have yet to figure out how much gas this thing holds ... smh. I do not want to go out, run out and be stuck. I may even look into a Hornet next just to have another tinker toy. This is so much fun for me. I want to reach 65-70 mph on the Powermax and hornet I would try to get to 70-75 mph. Heck it is cheap enough and I know it can be done with the right tinkering and adjusting.

Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on..... glad you found some gloves to fit, they will sacrifice themselves to protect your hands in the event of a crash, when you can you might find some good motorcycle gloves online, that fit you better, they will help you with your RA too, if you ride in the rain or wind, cold wet hands are terrible on the joints, it may not seem cold out, but wet hands in the wind, chill quickly. I tell people all the time, gear up just like it's a regular motorcycle, you are going the same speeds. I used to ride as a serious bicyclist until I was run over and broke my back, but a lot of tips translate over from riding bikes on the road, I've seen a driver on a cell phone, crush a group of bikes on a bridge next to the guardrail, luckily they were just parked and no one was on them at the moment, thats why I said never stop there, people are more interested in texting then driving, and to them you are "in the way' always assume they are trying to hit you and ride accordingly

here's an interesting article, motorbikewriter.com/riding-arthritis-chronic-pain/ I plan on getting my endorsement and I'm looking at bikes that will let me ride with my back, or a large scooter eventually. Have you looked into footpegs? I plan on adding them myself as I hat sitting with my feet straight and upright. I'm also looking into redoing my seat with some orthopedic foam

Comfort to the max with running boards for just about all positions. I want the 200 but my funding is not there yet. I figure I would play with the Powermax to learn and practice with. If I drop or wreck it there is no loss on my end for the value. Heedehcheenuh Chuck D Ride on.....

Try to race motorcycles or even many cars and you find out how un-rocket-like they are. A 400 is highway capable, but if you want to go long distances with a passenger the 650 may make more sense. Also, if you want to cruise fast the 650 makes more sense. The 650 does feel heavier though. Wouldn't matter on the highway, but if you do a lot of in town stuff that may make the 400 a better choice. Go check 'em out in person and see what you think yourself. If one were right for everyone, they wouldn't make 3 versions.

The 650 is more like 600lb. My TMAX is just shy of 500lb, but I could clearly feel the difference in weight putting a 650 on and off the center stand. The 400 is also just under 500lb. All have side stands AFAIK, so that would keep you from having to always use the center stand.

I tried both the 200 and 400. The 200 was just right for me and allllso cussshhhyy so to speak. I just have to get the $$$ right before I can jump on a purchase. I could straddle it and hold it up with my legs and be standing above the seat. (32inch inseam). The 650 is heavy. The one I tried let me know real fast it had weight to it lol

Parts came in and every thing is on. I replaced the 9g rollers with 12g rollers. The engine dropped down to 7,000-7,200 rpm range but only reached 58 mph GPS. I may put the 10g set in it (Took out the 9g set) and see how she runs from there. With the 12g set she felt like she was lugging along want to cut loose and breath. Belt made a world of a difference and was easier to get on. Clutch pulley had the belt more towards the outer edge like it should have been. Muffler sounds like a frippen glasspack lol. The old muffler showed traces of soot even thought it was light so she is not running lean. First back fire from the new muffler scared the mess out of me lol so the baffle may go in .. but I like the loudness. "Loud pipes saves lives!" I enjoy slowing down blipping the throttle to make it cackle and people turn to look like what is that. I just wonder if she prefers the 8,000-8,500 rpm range. Every time I go heavier weights and taller gear she just lugs around. I want to think she is solid enough to ride those rpms seeing as I did see 10,000 rpm on her on one run with 6g rollers. I did not hold it there but hit it and she became buzzy. (Down a short hill with a head of steam and only hit 55 mph) In the last 2 videos she was holding 8,000-8,200 rpm range and was smooth as silk. I wonder if this engine prefers the higher rpm range like that. When I ran the 8g test she ran smooth and perfect at 8,700-9,000 rpm range and was not buzzy. I was just a little to loud exhaust wise for me. Over the winter I may get setup with the BBK from the jug up. I am trying not to go to far yet. I want to get the most out of the 150cc engine first.
