I think partly because cleanup is much easier.

I was too busy eating them to post them last night, but I made some biscuits to go along with roast beef and veggies. Standard instant kinda biscuit mix, but then I sorta randomly added raisins, craisins, oatmeal, baking powder, eggs and sugar. Somewhere between biscuits and oatmeal raisin cookies. Kinda figured I'd make more of a mess than anything, but they turned out quite good IMO. I'll be cooking them again in the future.

There was "nothing" in the fridge, but I managed to jimmy something up. Heck, if you got garlic and onions anything is possible. BAM! Had some leftover chicken n sauce n onions n italian seasoning n, well, this happened Add leftover pizza sauce ... Add fresh jar of marinara ... Let simmer ... will have to think about pasta next

This is my beautiful 8 yo after having her favorite - chicken drumsticks, she’s such a mess but I love her! This was actually clean compared to her usual. If she had it her way we would have bbq chicken everyday. Edit: yes I liked my own post because she’s that cool!

Made "Papa's Corn" as my daughter.likes to call it to pair up n with some fajitas. Soak the corn in brine for longer than 30 min. BRINE: ¾ cups salt ¾ cups sugar Water to cover the corn in a 5 quart bowl Then get aluminum foil and butter it down. Sprinkle truffle and parsley sea salt Sprinkle garlic powder on too Butter the corn Wrap it up Put it with the rest of the things in the grill Voila 4 year old approved

They were kind of rushed but 2-3 hour ribs, 5-6 hours would of been great if I had the time. 1 hour on the smoker for flavor, wrap in foil with an apple juice bath for the grill until the bones show then directly on the grates with your favorite sauce for a few turns. My little girl enjoyed them, I think she likes anything she can eat with her hands.
